Plan on getting one also, but going to go with the basic Home Depot or Lowes version.

This thread about shovels probably has more views than my build thread. F*ck it. I'm starting a shovel build.

Alright, just getting started with the slow build, what do you guys think? Any suggestions on a leveling kit? What is the biggest size spikes you think I can fit without rubbing?

I'm not sure you'll be able to get a proper alignment with that handle. You'll need to add an upper control arm to that handle.

So Ive heard the feedback. I know I went flashy before performance (#lightbarsbeforelockers), but I finally added some performance mods. What do you guys think?

I'm not sure you have enough articulation with this setup. You might want to convert this to a long travel shovel for those hard to dig places. What will you do if you find yourself in a crawlspace? Long travel won't be cheap, but buy once cry once as they say.

Should probably add some some bypasses and secondaries and make sure you do the 3" leaf conversion

Could you make a quad version so I have one for each tire? That way I can dig all four out at the same time?

Hmmmm… Quad shovel but you have to add the 4 recovery boards on the backside so we can drive off after digging out. And it needs a bottle cap opener on the handle too. Built in compressor would be nice.

It all needs to fold up like a multi tool and mount on the bed rails.

Home Depot HDX utility shovel. It’s like $10, short enough to fit underneath the back seat of my double cab. No need to spend crazy money on these broverlander shovels.
