My AV (Sophos) sees the program as a trojan. I had to reboot with it set to not autorun to get it installed.

Mzim, you're talking about the selectable dropdown at the top of ToyFlash correct?

I went as far as uninstalling my AV.

I think that the program may have created a new folder for the files as I now have two, and I didn't notice that right away. I mostly wanted to do a cold start log when it got down to 10*F, you really only get that chance about once a day. Maybe I can get another after the next update.

Yes... I believe you can see the driver there when you open Toyflash. Just one thing I had to mess with at first. Second attempt and it popped in there.

Everyone except you I heard... :) Kidding of course...Sorry. I received my final minor revision January 10th and unless some new really cool feature comes along I suppose I am complete. Lots of Logs....revisions and tweaks over the last 8 months since I started this process but so worth it. There were times I waited a week or two between updates and a time or so where 8 weeks or so was the turnaround. The guy has a lot on his plate, but there is nothing comparable out there in my opinion...Our tune is still an early release and under development and each ECU is different as he has said in the past. I recall early on running the "safe" base tune I actually reverted back to the crap BD tune for a trip as I needed full power pulling my toy hauler. Was it a minor inconvenience...Yes...but again worth it in the end.

No, but I was having trouble getting my logs to OV seemingly because the files were too large. So you could say that I kind of missed the boat. I think that he has them now, so he'll get to them when he gets to them. It's not like I put a lot of miles on. I'll wager that I haven't burned even a tank of gas since my last flash.

I didn’t either. Did Mat send you a message saying your log is too large? I was wondering if mine’s too large as well.

I sent him a 2 logs with no trouble for a total of about 20 minutes of data. He did not say anything except asked me when the "90mph incident" occurred. I was waiting for it to shift to the next gear with a WOT on the highway and the ECU shut down the accelerator pedal and it would not shift to the higher gear, just stayed in the lower gear screaming. Scared the crap out of me. He said the Taco guys have ran into this when they have changed gear ratio in their trucks

Initially he emailed me saying that he didn't find the files attached, then we had a brief back and forth trying again and using different email addresses. Ultimately, it was found that Zendesk has a file size limit of 7MB (the file I was attempting to send was 11MB as it was all types of driving in one single recording session). So I just decided to forget that particular file and I went out and logged a bunch of shorter ones to send in. I have not heard back directly from Mat via email that my efforts were successful, but I have seen that he's posted here in the past week or so that he's "gotten everyone's logs", so I'm operating under the assumption that the smaller files made it to his Zendesk and are the hot tip. If memory serves, each of those files were under 2MB and were all sent in a single email. I think that there may have been five or so logs, a couple being a little over 1MB and others around 600KB.

My last log was 40mb because I missed EVERY light on my 11-mile drive to work & it was raining.

I cut it in 1/2 & the gmail address would not take it so I chopped it again and at 10mb it went through. Hopefully he got it.

Ya, there shouldn't be as big of an issue with file sizes being sent to Mat's Gmail address, other than the headache of him having another email address to check.

Thanks Wynnded, mine logs were under 7mb each, 6.43mb being the larger one. So I guess/hope OV is working on it?

Usually he will do a few updates for tundras on Friday or Saturday. He has gone quiet on Tacoma world, so I imagine he is working to get the final Tacoma tune released. Once that's out, I'm sure the tundra will ba a priority.

I always did and do a bunch of smaller files...Each being specific to what I was trying to demonstrate. I cannot imagine opening a large20-25 minute file and scrolling and searching through to try and find where you did WOT pulls, idling, etc. I always figured that would be a pain in the ass and not a very good use of his time. My largest log file after checking is <1400kb

Mat's probably got it down to a science...:monocle: For example, looking at what the throttle data is would differentiate between idle and WOT events without even having to think about it.

I understand and am sure he has a method that works for him. Ive worked with other tuners in the past(Lund Racing for one) that prefer smaller more focused log files when reviewing your logs/tune and from a layman perspective I get that. Scrolling through 10 minutes worth of Idle and normal driving so I could find your WOT/ Half throttle pulls still doesn't seem like a good use of my time.

I sent in roughly 7 minutes worth of stop and go and probably 5 more minutes of three hard pulls. I hope it's good enough. Guess Ill find out.

Unless you're boosted, 99% of you guys have probably the exact same tune file. I'm with the guy above, send in a log of going WOT and a log of idling and anything else and have each be a few seconds long, minute at most.

I was just in the Tundra sucks you guys are fanboys thread and someone brought up DAP has a AIP fix if there is no current issue. Anyone know if we can get that incorporated in our tune?

    That would be nice.

There is a guy with a grudge, claims Toyotas suck. There has been disagreement with that idea.

He is mostly complaining about AIP failure and someone posted there is a tune that tells the ECU to ignore the error (if it has not yet failed)

Mine was replaced over 165k ago and is not having problems. I'd like to keep it that way.

Oh ok that makes more sense. I try not to look at to many problem threads. Apparently there is some sort of block off kit for that issue, but not one for a flex fuel. My truck has about 155k miles now, but I've had no trouble.

DAP has AIP fix/disable and also governor delete. OV will not defeat any emission or safety features. Unless you can prove that your Tundra is strickly for off road use only. One poster here, months ago, wants cats deleted.

Sequoia LED Headlights! D.T. L.T. headers, dual exh., BDX, S&B intake, 2018 seat skins.
I have long tube headers with all 4 oem cats, I'm giving up some performance but I'm ok with that.

I'd like not to have to worry about AIP but I'm not starting over with another tune. Guess if it fails I'll do the blockoff deal.
