Was visiting with my kid at their shop today, when he (pretty-much) demanded I 'test fit' some new (but old stock) rims they had ...

Apparently these were ordered for somebody who changed their mind, and because the shop was busy ... instead of getting sent back, they got pushed aside and managed to be forgotten for a few years.

    Here's a close-up:

    ... and old:

I'm thinking I'd keep my current old wheels for winter tires (since they're mounted on them now) and use the new (old stock) ones for summer.

What does everyone think? I must admit I like the looks of them better than black rims ... But then again I'm in my 50's and don't mind chrome, LOL.

I should mention I'm being offered these at a price SO good (WAAAAY under dealer cost), It's *really* hard to pass them up.

I think they look good. They match the style and era of that truck. What really matters, if you like them. I think they would look even better with a bigger or more aggressive looking tire LOL

Looks good. Goes good with the chrome bumpers.

Looks good...but that's not chrome, it's polished aluminium...which looks much better than chrome IMHO...

For summer I think I'm going to mount duratracs in 265/70/17 (I've no lift or leveling kit.)

I like the polished aluminum look. Goes nicely with chrome which I also like btw. The black is a dated look now and chrome/aluminum is coming back! Go for it!
