Looking to know what difference I can expect if I upgrade my stock 18 Ltd CrwMax shocks to the yellow and blue Bilstein shocks, front and rear, that come on the TRD Off Road packages?

-Will there be a height difference? Not looking to get a lift
-Will the ride be smoother, or rougher?

I am a novice when it comes to suspension.....really, any modification for that case
I have someone selling front and rear shocks that came off of a 2016 CrwMx TRD Off Road
    2-Part Nbr: 48530-0C041
    2-Part Nbr: 48510-0C041

    Do these look good?
If they came off of a 2016, would they fit my 2018?

Yes, they will fit the '18 and will not add any lift. It's oem upgrade replacement.

I appreciate the verification. Would you be able to tell me, by looking, if these look good?

    No lift. Unless spring droopage.
Will probably ride a bit stiffer going from limited to the TRD 4600's.

Looks are deceiving. Looks fine, but seller could've wiped then clean and polished them up. Hopefully seller isn't an Ahole. The fronts are missing the top plates, so you'll have to break your front's apart.

... and I wouldn't pay more than $200 - 250ish for the 4600's. You can grab the adjustable 5100's new for $350ish range off Amazon.

That's always the best. I have quite a few Tundra buddys that don't like to wrench, but have too much money. I have their take off parts to refresh mine.

How much are they selling them for. Depending on price, i would go with 5100s and be able to level out the front.

The 4600 really aren't much of an upgrade. Especially if you are paying for install and alignment...

Plan on doing these myself at a buddy's garage. But you are correct, not much of an upgrade, but looking forward to the shocks.

it is a pain in the butt to manually compress coils with tool from auto part. plus if you plan on using your old top mount that's 4 coils need to compress!

My 18 Limited came with the 4600's that you are looking to buy. Do you not have them on your Limited??

Do you have the TRD package? From your avatar pic it looks like you have TRD Off-Road wheels. Not all Limiteds have the TRD package, in which case they do not have the 4600s.

Since the shocks are not an issue, will I have Swap our tires? Or can I keep the limited 20 inch rim and tires I currently have on the truck?
