After 230k miles the front driver side bearing needs replacing. I'm going for the full hub assembly.

I'm looking for a little advice on the best make to buy, Dorman, DTA, Timkin? Something else?

I want something decent. Definitely not crap, but don't need top of the line either unless its price is right.

    I have 2008 4wd 5.7.

    Thanks in advance.

    Alot of them
Temkins are really good but the OEM price isn't bad either. I pulled this for the 2008 SR5 with the 5.7. https://www.sparksparts.com/auto-pa...7l-v8-gas-engine/brakes-cat/front-brakes-scat

Just came over from a 4Runner with plentiful full assemblies. Looks like the Tundra has super limited options for complete front hub + wheel bearing assemblies. Even Rock Auto only shows 3 of such, of which I would only buy the Beck/Arnley and avoid the cheaper ones.

If you were going to press fit, I'd say Timken, SKF, or Koyo wheel bearing and reuse your hub.

I watch too much Eric with SMA to avoid Dorman unless you're in a pinch.

If you are doing the drivers side you might consider doing the ECGS bushing too.

The Beck/Arnley look identical to the original. Fit perfectly. Run great. If needed I will use them again.
