3" lift, 33” tires open country AT2, 18" Mayhem rims, flowmaster exhaust, K&N intake, smoke rear lights and 3rd brake light. Optima RED Top battery, LED Lights all around, Mesh black Grill, Alpine double dash Nav head unit. Suspension 5160s rear 5100s front.
If you have a full 3” leveling kit/lift in the front did you do anything to improve the ride? I want to replace my front shocks/struts but don’t know what that would still support a 3” front lift/leveling. Btw I have 33x12.50x18 on aftermarket rims already.

I did bilstein 5160s in the rear already. Thanks guys!

Please clarify, you currently have a spacer lift? If so, any true lift will improve the ride. 5100s, Toytec Boss or OME are nice for @3 inches are reasonable priced.

Yeah, take out the spacer, any coil over shocks will feel great by comparison!

I’d run some old man emu 612s and ome shocks. That’s what I am running and the ride is great

Thanks guys. I like the ome but they are a 2.5” lift I need a 3”. I have a RC leveling kit now but hate the ride. Think I am going to get the RC N3 3” lift. Anyone you know have them that can get some feed back on? I have the bilstein 5160s in the rear their amazing keep them their brand new too. Thanks again!

Going to get what you pay for. I have never heard anyone say that RC suspensions ride nice. Most here go with 5100 or Toytec for 3 inch suspensions and both of those would certainly give a better ride than the N3.

I have the 5100s for my truck but they don’t give a 3” lift which is what I need. I bought the 5160s for the rear their amazing love them! Wish the 5100s would give me a 3” lift!!

    I never installed the 5100s yet cause I need a 3” lift.

I am worried about buying the N3 to me only $250 spring loaded seemed to good to be true. I’ll spend $500 if I can find something around that price if anyone can suggest something let me know. Thanks guys!

I obtained a 3" lift with 5100s leveling shocks. I'm using two shims on the driver's side and one on the passenger's side. I would not recommend it anymore (several months ago I would have). The ride is harsh and not very pleasant when hitting potholes, imperfections and off road on wash boards. I also think the 10 ply Falken Wildpeaks are partially to blame for the ride.

Don’t know how it’s going to look with bilstein 5160s in the rear those in the front but is what it is. The 5160 I just installed them and their amazing! Much better ride!

Yes, I have them in the front with 1 shim on drivers side and TC UCA's. I have the Boss in the rear along with CB +2 shackles. I think the truck drives great. Been on for about 2 years.

do They sell just the front shocks pre loaded like that? I have 5160s in the rear. If you know where can you send me a link? Thanks
And I also have a car. Use this truck for my boat a lot.

Hi sir I was just in a 10 tundra after helping a friend of mine install his lift over the past 3 weekends ( i no took a long time lots of salt up here in winter) he just did bilstein 6112s package from boss 4X4 with 2 shims on driver side and 1 shim on passenger side ,zone off road u.c.a.,s along with Deaver 1 inch full leaf pack in the rear . I got to say I was extremely impressed with it, the ride was nice not harsh we measured rite after install and after a fast run down a rough dirt road and was still at 3 and 1 quarter inch lft in front with a front receiver hitch mounted winch !!! Needless to say this is the setup I will definitely going with in spring , I hope this helps your front suspension question

And to add his tire size is 35x12.50X18 on a 18x8.5 wheel with 1.25 spider Trax wheel spacers , to help fit the wheel and tire package he did shim the front bumper forward a half inch and removed the front mudflaps no b.m.c. needed

Was it bilsteins 5100s in the front? And can you tell me what shims we’re used a link maybe? If it was 5100s in the front I might do the same thing then as long it is a 3” lift in the front. Thank you!!

Can someone explain the 5100s, that is, if you install them do they require a lift or can you install them with no lift?

No lift required. Set the spring perch retainer clip in the bottom groove and it'll be set for stock ride hight.

Should ride a bit better also, because the spring won't be compressed as much as it would be using the other grooves.

The choice of tires is a huge factor in ride quality imo.

Out with the 5100s, in with the 6112s!!! Thanks @BOSS4x4s for the awesome price and fast shipping. It was a ninety minute install. 6112s are so much beefier than the 5100s and they ride SOOOO MUCH BETTER!!!! I had them assembled at the top setting (2.5") and are the same length as the 5100s on the top setting.

I would stay away from RC if you are looking for a good ride, they don't exactly have a stellar reputation when it comes to quality.

5100s give you a lift no matter what. At bottom setting it’s a 0.875” lift. Max is 2.38
