Will 295/70R18 tires really fit (and what does fit mean?)

Yeah. I cant speak on the 4.7 or 5.7, but that 3.7L minivan engine sucked major balls out of gear. It was a no brainer option for me.

My 4.7 is useable, but its also noticeable. My 100 is weighed down with armor, but still. The 4.88's will liven it back up a lot.

315/70/17 grapplers with no run yet... just installed them last night with rock warrior wheels. Removed the muds flaps though.

Yes, I’m all stock. Last night I had a very little rub on skid plate. So I took a pair of channel locks and bent the rear corner of each side about 1/2” and now it clears plenty of tire area. Here’s a better pic in the daylight. I did remove the mud flaps in the front tire area

I'm assuming you're running the stock suspension. Have the same truck and want new shoes!

Looks great! That’s why I went to the 315/70/17 close to 35’s. I had the 295 mounted and changed my mind.

I am more than happy to throw some pics up...just let me know what you want to see...this first pic is just with the 295s and stock PRO suspension...second pic is with Coachbuilder lift.

After removing the little front mud flap, and using the Coachbuilder bumper shims, I have zero rubbing in front.
Before the lift...I had no rubbing in front or back. Just a very close fit to the upper A arm...but no issues.

Yeah, 1.25” spacers from wheeladaptersusa.com . I’m happy enough with them. Seems like just the right amount of “stick out”. When the $$ lines up, I will be ditching the stock wheels and spacers for +25 SCS Ray10’s though.
Seeing as this thread was originally about 295’s fitting properly, I should add my experience. They fit just fine. 3/1” leveling kit from frontrangeoffroad.com
Added wheel spacers as noted above, only had 1/4” clearance to the UCA’s, removed all mud flaps, meh, pushed the front bumper inner liner forward about 3/4” and re-drilled a hole in the plastic to hold it in place. All very easy work to do in my driveway.
Truck drives like a dream! Average fuel economy over the last 5k/mi. is 13.9mpg according to my hand calculations on the Fuelly app.

Here are my results with the 295/70/18 (35 mm offset wheels) size tires. I only have a leveling kit (2 inches front) without the mudflat removal. No rubbing in any forward or reverse at full lock. Interesting the diameter difference from my 33s how much better the ride feels.

Did you have to BMC, massage the liners or 1/2” lift up front? If something were to happen to my Quicksand this would definitely be my 2nd choice if I wanted a replacement ready to go minus the 295’s.

295.70.18 18x9 +12. Fits, but had to shim bumper, remove front flaps, remove mud guard, pry plastic behind bumper and drill new hole. I'm shopping for new wheels again.

Before I destroy my mudguards, will the SC10 +25 with 295.70.18 clear?

No, nothing on the body mount. With this offset and wheel size I haven't read of anyone needing a BMC. There was some rubbing on the front plastic, there's a few different ways to tackle that

I removed them before the tires went on but it looks like there's plenty of room. I'll give one side a test fit tomorrow and get back to you
