To get into it a bit more, all these noises are occurring at lowish speeds, the clunking noise is only when you turn the wheel at less than 15mph, and you can only hear it with the radio off. Still it sounds like shite.

The squeaking suspension noise is a bit more prevalent. You can hear it when you hit a hard bump, 10mph, 20mph, 30mph. Its a kind of squeak/rattle that reverberates through the chassis/body at speeds under 50mphish. FYI I can jump up and down on tube step at the drivers side door and produce that same damn squeak.

FYI truck is on stock suspension, stock wheels/tires.

Any suggestions on fixing it before I take it to my mechanic would be much appreciated.

Check your suspension joints might need some grease. Also check your bushings to see if any are failing. Probably better to have a buddy come help you pinpoint the sound while you jump up and down to recreate it. Best of luck.

Had a car that did this. replaced struts and then lower ball joint. Ball joint fixed it (also had universals on an old ford that squeaked at low speeds, replaced the rear shock, didn't fix it was the drive shaft).

I'm getting lower ball joints as well. but a buddy listening while you jump would be a good place to start.
