One of the reasons we (www.kbvoodoo.com) is looking to purchase a Tundra, aside from the amazing engine, is to make new products for it.

We make side rail caps and tailgate caps for the Tacoma, and they're nice filler work.

Is there a need and a market for Tundra versions of those products?

I would have a need for those Hi Rise crossbars if they mounted to the stake-pockets. I have a power toneau cover, but my stake pockets are clear.

I have not heard of any issues with the tailgate being weak or bending. But I do have to say that the plastic side rail caps are cheap, and even wavy in appearance. I'm not a fan and if I were to get a cap, or bed rack or bars, id want steel bedside caps.
I had both the side rail caps and tailgate cap from @KB Voodoo on my tacoma and they were great.

Those hi rise over the tonneau cross bars are pretty cool. I must say they were a great idea. Guy who came up with that idea must have been a real genius...

So far we only make them for 2nd and 3rd gen Tacomas, but they attach with the factory bolt hole locations.

Wow Dude.. you need a reality check!

A business owner makes a post in 2017 to see if there was any interest for his business making a product.
There was little to,..no interest. So he didn't waste time and money on the devolvement of said product.

Now 3 years later "he sucks" because you are the person that wants one?

I think he was being facetious, but I do appreciate your response.

And you're right, there was almost no interest in side rail caps and tailgate caps for the Tundra. Bed racks on the other hand, different story.

We make side rail caps for the 2nd gen Tacoma just because Toyota's design was trash. They've done a lot better on 3rd gen Tacoma's and Tundra's. We honestly don't see a strong need to replace them.

Another thing I noticed is that Tundra guys don't seem to be super interested in upgrading parts like this, probably because we're happy with our trucks.

Agreed. These caps on my Tundra have held up much better than the ones I had on my Taco. Taking my bed rack on and off though has messed them up a bit. So for me, the need is there. Plus the warm fuzzy feeling of having my weight-supporting rack sitting on metal rather than plastic is a plus :D
