The turning circle on these little big trucks is amazing, and
the AC chills the cabin fast & keeps it as cold as you want.

I just want you guys to know that the regular cabs are the only gen 2/3's that I like. Something about the way they look. Did they stop making them after 2014?

    :benchpress:

Can someone snap a picture of their storage behind the seats? It looks like they actually have enough room for a backpack or two.

They stopped making 2WD 5.7L RCSB in 2010, and production of 4WD 5.7L RCSB was halted in 2013.

I packed my long guns, golf clubs, large suitcase, a couple carry bags, and a cooler back there. The space is almost as large as the rear seating area in my old extra cab T100, or your AC. Pack everything like you are playing Tetris

I've had 2 prostitutes in the back area behind the seats, so your backpacks will be fine.

Another thing RCSB owners enjoy that owners of other Tundra models don't is
the extra tight 19.6' Turning radius, it's very easy for the RCSB to make a U-Turn.

Nice! love it! I was just out tinkering on mine today going thru it making the wish (I want it) list and taking in account of what I must do before I start driving it a lot .... Stereo is fine Need better speakers.... get TRD shift Knob or something better... TRD sway bar for back... Take off Rear Cap paint it to match truck better.. <--- will have to wait for warm weather! TRD Cold Air intake ... Do Complete Brake rebuild only reason to do that is I want to know exactly what the status is versus "oh they look ok" full chassis Lubrication and inspection find some stock Fog lights or something better and I am sure some other I gotta haves will come up...

Look at Focal IC 690 TOY door speakers.

The TRD anti roll bar is very nice... the Hellwig is even better.

I hear you... if I had a garage it would be full of vehicles, but I don't so two is my max right now. The RCSB is just special & rare enough to hang on to, I rarely see another one on the road or up for sale. And it's just a blast to drive... I usually take the long way home when I have it out.

This is my exact situation as well. 5 vehicles and I almost sold my RCSB but I couldn't get myself to let it go. Currently have an 85 extra cab 4x4, 06 4runner V8 4x4, RCSB 5.7 4X4, 05 XB and one oddball, 01 911 turbo. The wife uses the 4runner as the daily and I use the XB since I commute farther. Once in a while I drive the RCSB to work since I can still pick up my two kids from school. The Porsche is just a fun toy and the 85 as well. I'd like to reduce down to just 4 vehicles but can't decide which to let go .

Nice! This is my stable, 2 V12 Mercedes, a 2007 LX470 and my 2008 RCSB, not pictured is a 2001 LC that's my offroad toy, we have property tax in VA and every year we pay for it, sucks.

If you are thinking about just a cat-back exhaust, contact Keith @dirtydeeds concerning the custom 3 muffler cat-back he made for my '07 5.7...

I've been close to ordering the 8" from him. How's the sound on yours? What was the price? Nice looking piece

It sounds great when driving along, and it sounds mean as hell when I mash the pedal to the floor. I purchased mine during a sale, Keith can give you today's price.

Looks like a group buy happening for coronavirus "heroes". Maybe Keith will let a truck driver get in on the deal. I'm gonna give him a call

In my particular case, there is a slight amount of drone caused by my shortened tail pipe. I hung the leaf packs under the axle, so 24" of the tail pipe had to be cut off, this alters the harmonics of the exhaust. Keith is shipping me a resonator that is 6" longer than the standard resonator, I should have it a week from Friday.
