I was looking into using white line-x on my front/rear bumpers, the hood and fender flares. Was just quoted $1500 for everything. I like the look of some that I've seen but there hasn't been many that I've seen in white. Any suggestions/ideas/photos??

Jeesh, I’d just save up for aftermarket bumpers at that price

For bumpers and what you listed for 1500 or whole truck for 1500?

I wouldnt do the whole truck just because of the added weight. But to each their own.

Seems kinda high, but then again they have to take everything of and put back on.

Love to see it when completed.

That seems like a pretty fair price. I would inquire about the UV resistance of the white. Back in the day when I sprayed they couldn't add as much UV inhibitor to colors as they could to black and the lighter colors had a tendency to yellow over time.

I am considering white line-x for just my front bumper, but I have also heard about the possibility of yellowing.

    Keep us posted.

Whatever you do make sure you go with at least Line-X Premium!!!!!! This will add a shiny coating to it. If you go with the standard Line-x it will discolor and change colors pretty quickly. I love Line-X but Line-X premium is the minimum I would do. I have a bed cover and still did Line-X Premium.

There is a member that had her bed sprayed white not long ago, maybe she will chime in.

I’ve called 5 locations and asked about yellowing and 3 of them said yes overtime it could start to change to yellow. One of the locations said they won’t even do white. The other two said no it won’t turn yell because the way the mix the color into the paint.... idk now

So this is not line x nor a tundra but it was really easy to do. I painted this with monsta liner using a schutz gun and air compressor in my garage. It held up great and would be infinitely cheaper of an option..... this is the close up of my old yukon, also on the monstaliner website . The website has examples of white too. Good product in my experience.xl_20130115_211909.jpg ( yes it was a yukon my grille was bashed and this was a pick and pull type of project so it got a chevy grille)IMG_20140329_194748936.jpg

That sounds like a fair price. For comparison, I got the following quote from my local Line-X shop (I didn’t ask about full bumper spray, just the end caps):
