Does anyone seen MEVOTECH UCA's? They look just like SPC's for hundreds less. Rock Auto has them for $211 EA CMS861202 and CMS861203

Never heard of them. After searching, Summitt carries that brand.

I ordered some “mevotech” adjustable arms for my first gen tundra. I ordered them from rock auto and they are SPC control arms in a mevotech box.

I know this thread is concerning the 2nd/3rd gen tundras. But just want to help out fellow members. For anybody that orders the mevotech/spc arms off rock auto please use this coupon code. When you go to your cart, look for the field that says “how did you here about us?” Put in the number below for 5% off your entire order:

Forgot to mention that the SPC logo is etched into the gold part of the ball joint. I’ll try and get a picture up soon.

Does it have the new greaseable ball joints? I had been told that SPC allows their old design to be reboxed under different brands.

Mine don’t, but I don’t give a shit. I run spc uppers on my 2nd gen Tacoma with the non greasable ballpoints and I’ve never had a problem.

Once again I’m first gen, but you get the idea. Here are some more pics of the mevotech/spc arms I got from rock auto.

Those look different than my SPCs. The welds are different, the sheen on the metal in the ball joint too.

Yep, The ones pictured in my post go on the 2000-2006 tundras. I only contributed my photos as reference to show that the “mevotech supreme” Uppers are basically genuine SPC uppers in a mevotech box. You have the better greasable ball joints too.

Old thread but is it confirmed that the Mevotech UCA’s are the same exact as SPC, but in different packaging? Specifically for 3rd gen

I may have discovered the answer. There is a newer version with an updated greasable ball joint. Other than that is appears to be the same, but im not sure. They do sell the upgraded ball joints for $120-$140 separately though. might be slightly cheaper to get mevotechs and upgrade the balljoints, but at that point it Might be better to just buy the new ones.

    *****EDIT*****
The other side UCA on rock auto shows a greasable ball joint, might have to give them a call. If theyre selling the newer SPCs at that price, thats a steal

Same manufacturer, old design. SPC sells their designs off occasionally to other brands like moog and mevotech. I wouldn't think twice about running the tube+cast design with a greasable ball joint. The latest SPC designs are going to full cast arms with the same greasable ball joint. I love the huge range of adjustability in the upper ball joint. If my truck didn't come with fancy arms I would have bought the mevotechs.

Just found this thread and it really piqued my interest as I am looking for budget friendly control arms.

my stock ball joints are done and was looking for a small upgrade to go along with my 6112 lift

I might jump on these from rock auto.

anyone else make a recent 2nd gen purchase and can confirm these are just old style spc with non greasable joints?
