Dealer deals -__-

I recently bought a 2017 Crewmax SR5. Had the dealer lift it, and add wheels and tires...I didn't want to mess with any warranties. I dropped it off Monday 1/2/16 with an expected turnaround time of 2 days max. Wednesday the excuse was, "parts came late so we got a late start." Okay, I can buy that. I took Thursday off of work so I can pick up my truck on the "guaranteed" day. 5:30 rolls around and they claim they're missing the lug nuts for the rims..I find that hard to believe but what the hell...he said he'd forsure get them Friday morning and have me on the road before 12:00. Alright great sounds good. 4:00 Friday, "the lug nuts just got here." Let me slap them on and align it and you'll be on your way." Phone rings at 5:30, "the lug nuts don't fit, you'll get your truck Monday, hopefully." Is this the biggest runaround in dealership history? I miss my truck

Welcome. Would've been nice if they'd had all the parts together before they took your truck in. Well, now you know why they're car dealers and not brain surgeons.

Just signed the papers on a new 2017 CM 4x4 TRD OR as well and they promised some things to be done that are now looking a little flakey after my conversation with the service manager.

I haven't taken delivery of the truck and have a due bill so I think I'm safe.

Welcome from eastern CO! I'm planning on putting my lift on myself, a small part of the reason is due to not wanting to get jacked around with by a dealer.

 

Meh, I hate shit like that. I would demand a discount or something for your inconvenience. Did they give you a rental? If not, I would definitely be asking for something.
