    HOW SHE SITS:

On 12/23/19, I picked up this 2009 GMC Savana 2500 w/ 127k miles. I was completely shocked to find one in Fire Red and with the interior only having minor blemishes. It's definitely not as luxurious as my platinum tundra but the simplicity is nice. I'm excited for the new project

    INTERIOR/EXTERIOR:
    - Bed Rug Floor Liner
    - Dual-Layer Wall Insulation
    - Bed w/ Storage Underneath
    - Portable Buddy Heater
    - Wall Paneling
    - 30% Ceramic Window Tint via California Wraps
    - AVS Window Deflectors
    - AVS Hood Deflector

    WHEELS/TIRES:
    - 265/75/16 BFG KO2's

    ELECTRONICS:
    - National Luna Portable Power Pack
    - Group 31 AGM Battery
    - Maxx Air Fan Deluxe
    - Alpine ILX-W650 Head Unit
    - Alpine HCE-C1100 Rearview Camera

    FUTURE:
    - Ceiling Paneling
    - Fridge
    - Solar
    - Gas Powered Heater
    - High Roof
    - 4x4 Conversion
    - Swivel Seats
    - ???

    A few updates...

Installed an Alpine ILX-WX650 head unit in the Van. Now I have bluetooth, apple car play, and a backup camera which can be activated anytime as a rearview mirror.

I also had a friend of mine, Enzo, do a detail on the van. He was able to remove at least 80% of the swirl marks and apply a nice coast of wax

The bed and wall paneling are done but I don't have any pics of the wall paneling up

I did install the Maxx Air Fan though! More pics to come once I wire it to my National Luna portable power pack from my friend Jan (@395North)

Necessities... Second MaxxAir Vent will be installed before I finish paneling the roof and doors. Wiring will be tucked away in the process. This will be a fun setup for weekend adventures.

I also added some Old School decals we made at work (California Wraps). The other day we added SunTek Ceramic 30% Window Tint to the front two windows. Windshield will most likely get 80% which is almost clear (has a slight blue tint). I've always tinted my vehicles as it blocks out roughly 40% of the heat and nearly 100% of UV rays.

Switched out the 245/75/16 tires to a BFGoodrich KO2 in 265/75/16. They are about 1" taller and 3/4" wider than the original setup. I'm planning on visiting CO in a month and wanted something that will handle adverse weather conditions better

MAXTRAX also came in which will be kept in the van until I figure out a clean mounting solution. Oh, I also installed an AVS bug deflector on the hood

I think the van might be better if it was 4x4. Then again you can't go wrong in a Tundra.

Even with 4x4, the suspension will need 10-15k just to feel comparable to the Tundra with minor modifications

The van served its purpose for me and that's all I can ask for. It's definitely time to get back in a truck
