    Hey everybody,

I got my Eibach 3” lift and was installing it today in my garage and it went fine...until the drivers side bolt for the sway bar won’t line up! Help...I spent 2 hours freezing and couldn’t get it!

They can be a real PITA to get lined up! Try loosening the two bolts that hold the sway bar to the frame. That will give you some wiggle room to get the links lined up.

Put the tires back on and put the truck on the ground. Gives the sway bar more wiggle room to line up.

Try putting the weight of the truck down and the tip above. I had a PITA trying to get mine lined up as well, putting the truck down on a jack stand under the LCA and looseing the frame mounts did the trick for me

I never undo them at the end link for this reason always undo at the mounts......so I’d try undoing it at the mounts a see if it gives enough you can use a jack to for pressure up and down

Finish and torque everything else in the suspension components install skid plate last. Like Vietguy said, put back on the ground to give you some wiggle room. Loosen the sway bar bushing as well. You might need to jacks up one of the LCA to achieve the right angle for it to line up with the holes

Yup had to do the same. It was a pain. Hopefully someone chimes in with a simple trick!

Did you jack up the lower control arm? It's really the easiest way.

Did you have to fight those going back on? I loosened mine and the ends were still difficult. Based on that it seems those mounts would be hard to align too.

Mine went right in. Just use a small jack to lift up the sway bar. Don’t loosen or take off the end link with this install no need at all. Just the mounts.

I had a bitch of a time getting my link back in. Wish I would have had some of these tips in mind when I did my suspension. Now that I think about it, I was worried that I cross-threaded mine when I put it back together... Now I don't want to have to find out.

    Thanks guys.

I put the tires on and used a floor jack and got her all lined up!
