Has anyone else had issues with their truck dropping the phone from bluetooth? I have a 2019 Tundra with the Entune system. I use an iPhone with 13.1.3 software on it. Every since the iOS 13 upgrade I'll be on my phone via bluetooth in the truck and then the truck just disconnects the phone. Lately it's been hanging up the call completely. Getting very frustrating. I feel like it's something with the truck since all my other bluetooth devices like headsets stay connected to my phone. It's only the truck that disconnects.

I have a 2018 and mine dropped from Bluetooth last weekend since the update. I just turned the radio off and it reset and picked the phone back up. Haven't had any other problems.

My 2014 seems to do that once a year. Now I did have a issue the first 5 years where the whole radio / nav unit would cutting out / and have to re-boot. Sometimes it wouldn't do it for 3-4 months, other times it would do it 3-4 times a day. The Toyota service department just says for $250 you could get a Nav update. But either on this website or Tundra.net there was a SB (service bulletin) post for this issue. Not until I told them (Toyota Service writer) about the SB number, did they go ahead and get it fixed. For free...go figure...

Try to completely remove the link from your phone and the radio. Then redo the pairing. That fixed my issue after iOS 13.

Having the same issues everyone else is but deleting the entune app didn’t work for me. If I turn off Bluetooth on my phone the radio works fine. But as soon as I turn it on again it is in a death cycle of rebooting nonstop. Have had the phone and the truck since July and never a problem. Just started last week. iPhone X and ‘19 TRD pro. The toyota downloads show no updates for my truck.

Have you tried nuking Apple Music like in the linked thread? Any apps get installed on your phone recently, or even updated?

Did you also try to completely remove the pairing and re-pair it?

I have the same problem. The software update starts, then fails with the message, "There is no new software or the media is not inserted."

    Entune sucks.

I have a 2019 Tundra 1794, and on a recent 2 hour trip, (while listening to a police scanner on my iPhone via bluetooth) my infotainment system rebooted 2-3 dozen times. I took it in to have the dealer look at it. They installed a software update. A few hours after I picked it up, it failed again. I can make it fail by changing the source from Bluetooth to FM radio. Anyway, today, they told me it may be my iPhone and that I need to make sure my iPhone software is up to date. It is, at 13.3.1. Then they told me to delete the iPhone from the Tundra, along with any personal radio settings, which I did. I rebooted my iPhone and the Tundra. This did NOT fix the problem.

Things seem to work normally, when connected via USB cable.

I can only use the USB cable with my iPhone. Bluetooth crashes the radio over and over. The radio firmware update via USB fails.

    Entune sucks.

The USB update starts out and the progress bar gets stuck:
    Radio1.jpg

After some time, I get the message, "There is no new software of the media is not inserted."
    Radio2.jpg

The update doesn't work and I can't use bluetooth anymore. I will not pay the dealership to update my stereo a second time.

I removed itunes and the apple music store. Reset the network setting and repaired. So far so good.

I do, but I've also used the regular old Entune BT connectivity; I've had the occasional crackle, but aside from that, no issues.
