Hi everyone... new to the forum and believe I messed up my original post so here is another.
I’m new to the pickup game and purchased a set of fender flares for my 2020 1794. They stick out 1.75”.
I don’t want to use wheel spacers and wondering what wheel offset and tire combo I can use to avoid the wheels looking “tucked in” . I want them flush to the extremity of the fender flare.

Thank you for the help in advance :)

@RadishKing the +18 to +25 offset should be good. This is a side shot of mine with a +25 offset without finder flares. Welcome to Tundras.com!!!

What size tires do you have on there?

I’m running a 295/70/18. If you are going to run a skinnier tire a +18 offset rim would work well with the fender flares.

What wheels are you looking to get and what tire size do you want to run? FYI, this forum is bad on your bank account but good for your Tundra!!!

Right now I’m pretty up in the air. It’s really my first pick-up and wanted to see what you guys are all doing. I’m guessing an 18” wheel since I am seeing a lot of guys here are really liking the 18”.... so funny as in sport cars you want larger than stock wheel setup but in the 4x4 world, seems to be smaller wheels to have more rubber.
I am enjoying all the responses and help guys. Much appreciated!

Do your research and you will be just fine @RadishKing . In the 4x4 world more rubber equals less flats when on the trails or off-roading. There is a lot of helpful information and people on this forum.

I run Bushwacker flares with 285/70/18's and 0 offset and I am just barely a tad outside the flares. Which flares did you get?

I just sold off this set of tires and wheels.

I’m going with a +18 offset now. Should I remove the flares? Any opinions appreciated.

That’s fine. I’m not worried about the paint. It’s already quite scratched up, everywhere. It’s a work truck. While I understand a lot of folks, the majority in fact care about their paint job, for good reason. I personally don’t care. I learned long ago, I can’t have anything nice. Either I’ll mess it up, or something or someone else eventually will.

Not necessarily, I had a set on a truck for over a year and when I pulled them off the clear coat was a little scuffed but I was able to buff out.

    Hi everyone....!!!
I’m new here and I just bought a set of BW painted , but I’m having trouble fitting the right wheels and tires for a barely out tire look, I’m doing a 3+1.5 leveling kit and I’ve been suggested to go for 20x10 with a -25offset and 305/55R20 will be good, others said that 20x9 with a +18off set will do the trick... please help

20x10-25 is too much, the 20x9+18 will be fine, that size tire will probably look small

For the OEM pocket flares I manage to retain all the mud flaps with the 275.65.18. Bilstein 5100 bottom setting, with 2" donut spacer. There was a little rubbing on full lock while backing up due to the +12 offset.

When I upgraded my tires with 295.70.18. I had to re move both front flaps and mud guards, modified the mounting points of the rear plastic cover behind the bumper to push it forward, after shiming the bumper.

I see, the setup I’m trying to pull is 305/55R20 nitro R/ grappler
Fuel vapor 20x9 offset (please help)
    RC 3+1.5 leveling kit
BW fender flares (1.75” tire coverage)

so with that setup I’m having trouble trying to get the right look, as I’m looking for tire blocks to be inside the flare but the exterior tire wall to be out of the flares line...
This is my first truck like I mentioned b4 and I’m looking to get it right with your help as you guys know way more than I possibly think
So, if you guys will let me know what I can do to obtain that stance I’ll appreciate it
    It’s the wheel too big?
    The tires too wide?
    Trimming on plastic or metal?

    ☹️☹️

    What will you suggest?
    Should I go 18”-19” instead of 20”..?
And if you want to see my last post I specified the setup I’m trying to pull, any help will be highly appreciated. As I’m trying to order the parts this week

I only say that because it’s a 33” tire which is only a little bigger than oem, with a 3.5” front lift a 33” tire will look small on the tundra, i ended up going from 33 to 35 because of that

Here’s an example of a 33” tire (but on an 18” wheel) with a 3/3.5” lift up front, I thought it made the tire look tiny 3552504A-8A12-41F9-A99A-E8B397573274.jpg

You are right, it looks small... but a 35” will cut down your mpg how much? Just curious as I have heard it takes a big toll on the engine, it’s that true?

my set up is a bit closer to what you want to achieve except I'm running 305/50/20 and my truck is levelled.

    Size: 20x9 +24
    Tire: 305/50/20 Nitto Ridge Grapplers
    Lift: Leveled
    Rub: Not yet

not sure if this helps but see pics below.

tires do stick out a bit id say about 1.5-1.75" without FF, but may flush with oem FF.

    best,

When I went from a level up front with 33s to a 3/1.75 lift and 35s so far I’ve gone from 15.5 to 15.4 per the trucks computer

It’s great...! And how long after you getting bigger tires you took that reading?
