    ***Undercarriage rust question***

Hey all, I currently have an 07’ 4.7 2wd that served it’s purpose this summer/fall. Found an 07’ 5.7 4x4 for $10k that I was planning to pick up tomorrow. Seller just sent me these pics that I hadn’t seen before. Said the rust is from the previous owner backing his boat into the water (aka not cleaning AFTER backing the boat into the water). Some of the areas look worse than others (pic 3), just wanted some opinions from folks who may know these trucks better than I do. Thanks!

Doesn’t seem abnormal for a truck of that age. You could coat it with fluid film if you wanted to and that should keep it from getting worse.

That doesnt look bad at all. Oil it up and it will be looking new again.
