Didn't get the pictures taken yesterday because of the rain. Truck is dirty but cap looks good.

looks like remote lock as well? I didn’t go with this option but I’m contemplating calling and adding it before it’s too late.

No remote lock, the dealer I got it from said it's usually cheaper to do it aftermarket than through leer. To be honest, I probably won't add it.

    Wow! That's awesome.

I just ordered the replacement fold down sliding. $125.00 diy. Installing the carpet myself when I slow down with my other projects. I can not upgrade to wing door option since it's cut differently.

I’m 5’10” as well and have no issues. They come in handy when hunting.

I just installed my Leer 100XR on CrewMax. One thing I noticed is the gap between the besides and the Leer cap. If you look up from the ground you can see that Leer cap overlaps the bedside top, but its much wider then the bed itself. The gap I have is nearly enough to slide the Toyota push button start remote between the Leer cap and bedside. Is it just my cap or do everyone else have such gap?
I'm asking as I drove Ram 1500 with Leer 180R and F150 with Leer 100R and both were pretty close to the body line, may be 1/16"-1/8" of a gap, but on Tundra with 100XR its like nearly 1/2"??? Seems strange to me...

It's about ½ wider than the bed. My speculation is, since we have a thin bed cap, if they make it closer it will rub due to the flexing of bed. And they do flex a lot.

I advice getting a clear 2" TPU film to run on the side of the bed just below the bed cap and top of the tailgate where your hands and topper door gasket touches to protect it from getting scratch and wedge shims inside between the flange and bed to prevent them from shifting.

The gap will be reduced a bit when you tighten the bolts down. I believe I did this around 3 months after install as my installer suggested.

I'm jealous, trying to hold out for a used one before I drop 3k to order one. Love the windoors

Do you have a picture of that 2" TPU film applied? I wonder how would it look like?

Another thing I mentioned with my 100XR. I drove home from the shop yesterday and it was ok. Drove to Lowes last night and coming home saw my rear glass was open. Strange, so I closed it. Drove this morning to work and parked close to the light pole, so I went to check how close am I and what I see the rear glass is open again on the cap. I closed it again and decided to see how well it latch. Guess what, it does not do it well, if I pull the glass at the either end near latch with my index finger it pops up right open. I tried 15 times or even more to latch, nearly slamming the glass trying to lock it properly, pushed on the side in where latches attached to the glass and it was like 2 out of 3 times I can open it by pulling the corner edge out. The right side seems better, but just a bit.
Did anyone else have the latch system problem? I'd go back to installer next week to see if they can fix it, but in a meantime was thought of asking the community if its a common issue.

I think you can adjust the striker. On my old leer there was a couple screws on each side.

Have the installer adjust the latch. Like my last 100XR, it took me six months to address all the issues. Went back a couple times for adjustments and now it's good.

We went skiing and I found out water was getting in around the hinges and freezing. Froze my back window closed with the skis and snowboards inside. That was the best issue. Another reason to have windoors.

Having the gap is normal. If you watch how much that cap bounces around on a bumpy road, you'll want the space there.
