The 8500 has mostly great reviews. This is bizarre. It's creating a vacuum so I know it's not broken. I've tried to 2 person method before and don't want to mess with that again. I'm getting some fluid out, but not like it should be.

The only thing that hasn't had a very nice fit so far is the headrest covers. The bag method worked great for these though.

Looks good! I like the darker contrast.

Those headrests are super tight. Took mine off this past summer and found a wrestling match.

seats look great. but in comparison I'd say the headrests are unacceptable. I would send them photos. Any chance they are on backwards? The passenger one almost looks backwards, but the drivers doesn't. The headrests are so inferior in fitment to the seats its worth talking to them about it.

I'd like to see only the small lid on the center console with that material glued to it when you do the door inserts.

I probably will. They aren't on backwards that I can tell because they are only contrast stitched on the front. Everything else has really fit well though. I'm very impressed.

One thought is that maybe I was supposed to leave the factory headrest covers on underneath. They weren't glued on, but I've hear that some Toyotas have glued headrest covers. Maybe katzkin thought my truck was one of those.

That looks pretty sexy. Roll pans are big in lowered and racing truck senes. I see em on bro dozers too sometimes. I'm not gunna lie, I kinda like seeing roll pans on 2 foot lifted trucks lol

DOT 5.1 superseded DOT 5 that's why it is so hard to find. They wanted to make something more compatible because people were screwing things up just dumping DOT 3 or 4 into systems that required DOT 5 back in the day, well circa late 90s early 2000s.

Did a little bumpin n grindn on her today.:D The 285 Ridge Grapplers were rubbing so I had do a bit of grinding on the pinch weld. The Camburg UCA's were also kissn the edge of the shock mount. Cleaned it all up and she rides and turns really nice now, love this truck! Painting the bumper filler and portions of the grille is next on the list.

That truck has perfect stance, the tires look badass. Good taste even though it isn't black.

It's official, bun warmers are now baking my hams. I have a buddy keeping an eye out around the u pull yards for factory seat heater switches, but these will do for now.

I had to lower it. It had way too much preload and drove horribly. Its nice and smooth now.

That has a clean title? Seems like it's not even in the seller's name.

I wouldn't expect that title transfer to go smoothly at all....but then again, none of mine have! I seriously can't think of 1 time I've been to the DMV for a title transfer and didn't have to leave/come back. Buying my Tundra out-of-state from a dealer was even a pain in the ass that took multiple trips!

Looking at the impact point on the driver's side, i would strongly suspect frame damage... and want nothing to do with frame straightening... been there, done that, never again!!!

Your assessment leads me to believe you live in Florida. I can't title a dirtbike without bills of sale all the way back to the original owner who needs to provide the certificate of origin.

Yup! The dealer in Idaho, whom I bought the Tundra from, thought Florida was a bit ridiculous when he was working with me on the title transfer. Never lived anywhere else so it's all I know. The same thing for my work though, sign permitting in Florida is RIDICULOUS compared to other states!!

Try importing a car from Mexico to California. My uncle owed my mom a bit of money and gave her a car for the balance, it was the biggest pain trying to register it here.

Isn't Florida the state that has a bunch of gray market r33 skylines running around?

That runs into a bunch of import and nhsta shit, doesn't it? Was it an actual USDM car, or one of the weird Mexican market cars?
