How's the PVC feel im still undecided on which to get

I hate to argue but I love the leather. Although the body is still pvc, the back and seat are leather and you can tell. From the smell, to the feel. Clazzio also says the leather insert is the most durable option, which I believe. I also think the leathers are warrantied for longer. They are both very quality pieces but fwiw, I spent a long time trying to decide and don’t regret going with genuine leather.

 

Can’t go wrong either way.....just depends on your budget,wants and needs.

Noticed you have bench seats, do they send a cover for the middle front seat?

 

Yes. Bottom and top portions. Not to happy with the way the seat back piece is because they leave it open for the top console but hard to avoid I guess. It just doesn’t snug right against the seat so there’s a gap around the top of the console. Not such a biggie but some fabric shows so I have to clean it out every now and then.

 

Yep, they even send when you have console. Mine is sitting in closet. I thought about trying to repurpose it.

 

Got any pics? I think i know what you mean, it's more of a skirt that goes around the middle seatback since the top half is the arm rest.

For those that have ordered the PVC, how does it hold up to dogs? Not sure I want to spend the extra on leather when I've got 120k on my truck and may only keep it for another couple years..

 

I had my dog in mine when I had PVC quilted, no issues really. I did occasionally put down a towel as added protection. The PVC material is thicker than the leather material.

 

Do these puff out since they do not follow the contour of the actual bucket seats? I know people say these look stock because they tuck in but I feel like they don’t look stock from the pictures. Katzins really follow the contour of the seat. Maybe it’s just me.

 

They do puff out a little, which does wear in and become less apparent. That said, the Katzkins fit much better because theyre attached with hog rings and remain very tight. They also cost anywhere from 2-4x as much as Clazzios and require some skill to install or an additional cost to have an installer do the work.

I've had both, ran Clazzios the most. I opted for the affordable single tone full leather Katzkins for the my old 4Runner, they looked completely stock, were stiffer and less comfortable than the Clazzios and after 12mo had begun to show wear on the bolsters. Both have their place and its a matter of preference, for me $4-600 and about 2-3 hours of time was better than about $1800. I think I got unlucky with the Katzkin wear, but I know for a fact, after having owned 4 sets of Clazzios, that the Clazzios last for a very long time.

 

And easy to replace with just the pieces you need. The best way to avoid wearing out the bolsters is to lift your butt and not slide across them
