After 2 hard/ rich starts this past couple of weeks my truck threw the 4lo, check engine& Trac control lights this morning as I pulled into work. Tundra heads into dealer on Friday. Most likely fuel pump related which was replaced last February. So it's at least under warranty. If they pull it I'm getting a transfer flow 48g put in to save on the labor. So there's that....

See my previous 2 posts to check my sentiment regarding FFV Tundras.

    Not winning.

    FYI:
If any of you have had fuel pumps replaced on your FFV Tundras in recent history you may want to get your truck in and checked.
My 2012 is now part of the recall. Might be a couple of months to get a pump.

Free rental cars are being offered btw.

Looks like a 46g TransferFlo tank is in my future.

You still use your own fuel pump with the transferflow...

ah, I think I misunderstood your first post, my bad, I thought you were suggesting fuel pump issues and wanted to correct this w a new tank. You just want them to install TF tank since they’ve got it off, will they do that? Good luck.

They will do it. I get a new Toyota pump per recall installed free by my dealership. I pay for the tank full retail(from dealer). There may be some more discounts in it for me ( dealer service coupons).

Yeah, wasn't thrilled to spend $1700 on the Tundra. The pump is probably a month or so out. Trying to save on labor.

Whatever codes my truck threw at the dealer points to my fuel pump which is the same pump that's being recalled. My fuel pump was replaced a year ago after having similar issues.:(

Toyota has probably known about this problem for a bit.....

    No letter, sorry.
