Still on season 1. I don't like binge watching... I feel like crap after doing that. It was pretty slow and confusing in the beginning, but it's picked up and things are starting to connect now. I really want to go to the wiki and read more about the characters and the universe, but I don't want to ruin it, so I've been refraining.

we tried not to binge it either. kept ourselves to 2 episodes at a time. the whole thing is excellent and the characters are awesome. super impressed with the hard science aspect of it and the cg work.

One of the things that really stuck with me is how gravity works on the ships. It works like it's actually supposed to.

We finally finished Suits last night. It's a totally outrageous portrayal of the corporate law world but really well done. I was totally sucked in.

We watched the first episode of Vikings. It looks ok. We'll see how it pans out. I really need to get back to Hanna and Man In The High Castle. Both I watched a couple episodes then got distracted by other shows.

I tried The Expanse. Couldn't get into it for some reason. I'll try again. The Boys is on my list too.

currently on carnival row. so far, pretty damn good.

youngest and i went through all of the episodes for short circuit last night. if you're into animation (disney/pixar/dreamworks/etc), it's amazing. love that disney gave free reign to people who would normally never get a chance to direct something to make these. the stories are great. looking forward to having them put out more of these.

so, there is an over abundance of available screen time these days. here's what we've watched and are watching.

    - avenue 5 (hulu). need a good laugh? start here. so well done and the comedy is on point.
    - ford vs ferrari. watch it, not much else to say. the racing scenes are brilliantly done.
    - parasite. wow. just wow. brilliant.
    - us. another jaw dropper. absolutely twisted.
    - ugly delicious (netflix). david chang seems to be filling the void left by anthony bourdain and doing it well.
    - shadow. kung fu as it should be. from the director of crouching tiger and hero.
    - ad astra. so good.
    - altered carbon (netflix). really digging this series. hope they continue it. may have to read the books.
    - code 8. indie sci-fi. was a little hesitant but the story was solid and it was filmed well.
    - knives out. holy shit. what an epic little film.
    - onward. another pixar classic. watched with the girls last night.

lots more to catch up on.

Mostly watching old episodes of House and CSI. My wife and I were excited for Forensic Files 2 but turns out it's not nearly as good as the original episodes.

Have you seen the Upgrade? Another incredibly well low budget sci-fi film. One of the best sci-fi films imo.

really? only a seven? his fight with bruce lee makes it at least a 9. but, i get it. the Tarantino-isms didn’t really come out until the last 10 min. makes for a really long wait. i do love how he twisted the manson history.
