Definitely keeping an eye on this build. I take it you're still debating on lift and tire size?

Yeah, I think I'd like to do 2.5" up front with Camburg UCAs and longer travel shocks. a 1" shackle lift in the rear (again with slightly longer travel shocks) and then see if I can stuff 37" meats under the truck and not have it look terrible.

Only thing is, I don't know where the limits are on the Tundra the same as I did on the Tacoma. 35" tires on the Tacoma without re-gearing is brutal. And breaking CVs every time I take it out doesn't sound like a good idea either.

Would I be better off looking at 35" tires for a truck that'll crawl more than the local Simon Mall?

Sub'd. Especially interested in the control head and antenna feeds from the roof/headliner/pillars

I'm not an expert on suspension yet, but it seems that most of the builds on here that have 37's are on 6" lifts or so. It may be possible to fit 37's on a lift less than that, but one of the true suspension experts on here (off the top of my head that'd be @Sean266, @ColoradoTJ, @csuviper, @jberry813) would be better suited for that question. @bandit and @Spvrtan both fit 37's on their Tundra's with LT kits. On a 3/1 suspension lift with wheels that have an offset of +12 to +30mm, it seems to be fairly easy to fit 35's.

    Metric shit ton of parts
I measured for 37's (non-drop bracket and non-LT). It's doable, but not without some work. With +18 offset on a 9" wide wheel, you'd need to remove front mudflaps, tub all of the pinchweld, cutting a shitload off the cab mount (more than just a normal CMC..basically a rebuild), trimmed or removed skid plate, remove fender aprons, tub the core support, and you'll need an aftermarket front bumper or cut the shit out of the plastic bumper cover all the way to the fog lights.

I can't wait for the finished product. (At least from the electronics / radios standpoint).....

Going to put one of these under the cup holders, next to the long thin pocket with my CB.
This will be there to power each of the three transceivers, and the APRS Transmitter.

It'll be wired to the battery with a 100a circuit breaker, into a 100a relay.
The relay will be switched allowing me to cut any residual draw from the radios (The APRS Transmitter is 10w and beacons every 5 minutes, and runs a GPS 24/7 otherwise)
I'll put this switch next to the Tow/Haul(ass) switch in front of the shifter.

I got to spend a little time yesterday working on my truck.
My fog lights got a significant upgrade.

These are Black Oak Spotlight pods. Each is 40w, putting out ~3200 lumens on each side.
The brackets are from Rigid. I had to purchase M3 screws to mount the Rigid brackets to my Black Oak pods since the thread pitch was different than what Rigid D2 lights ship with, but other than that it's a prefect match.

I also got a little further in the wiring projects.

Blue Sea Systems 6 circuit fuse panel
    [IMG]

TrailToys No Strings Attached - (This is an 8 channel, wireless light relay box.)

I'm still waiting on a few more things, like battery terminals, but it's starting to come together.

I've got a 30" single row NiLight bar I'm going to put in the lower grill opening. It's too deep to fit anywhere in the upper grill it seems.
I've also got a pair of 18w NiLight flush mount LED Pods that I'll mount on Rigid "Angle Down" brackets on the back bumper. These will get wired with a diode to the factory reverse lights, as well as to the NSA from Trail Toys.

Finished the core of my power wiring.

4awg from the battery, into the cab, under the cup holders.

I finished up wiring in the two Circuit Breakers, and NSA from TrailToys.

And I got a single night shot of the front end with the Black Oak Spots turned on.

My next big projects will be:
    * Drilling 3/4 holes in the roof to mount NMO Antennas
    * Installing the radios behind the rear seats
    * Running Coax from the headliner down to the radios
    * Running control cables to the radios
    * Running Microphone cables to the radios

This is going to drive me crazy....
What will it take to make my headlights the same K value as the LEDs? Without being a dick to oncoming drivers. (so no drop in HIDs.)

I've got a bunch of new Radio Equipment coming in over the next three days. When it all gets here my goal is to spend most of Sunday installing it all in the truck and running all the wiring.

Would like to see the antennas mounted. I see one 2m/440 antenna by the hood. That is a better mount than cutting holes in the roof. I have a Kenwwod TM-V71A and a Yaesu FT-857. Looking to install a scanner in there somewhere.

Currently the antenna for this Yaesu is on a Trunk/Hatchback edge mount, on the drivers side of the hood.

I have "stake Pocket" antenna mounts coming that are designed for 3/8x24 thread CB style mounts. I'm going to drill the hole out for UHF thread antenna mounts, and put a pair of Comet SBB-5 antennas on the front set of Stake side pockets.

The rear pair will get a 2' Firestick on the passenger's side, and my HF antenna on the driver's side.

    Some stuff
this is the radio i need to mount as well. considering mounting the body into the center console but i'll probably need to cut at least one ventilation hole. how is the face plate mounted to the dash? RAM or something else? i'm looking for option to put mine in the headliner console between the map lights. there's some unused space there next to the sunglass holder.

I put two screws through the mount that came with the radio into the top of the dash... :)
If I hadn't put the brains of the radio in the passenger's side foot well, I would have attached it to the back wall behind the rear seat. (Double cab) I put it where I did so I could access the USB Port, and the MicroSD card slot for Programming.
