I have a 2014 tundra with all lock actuators failing. They take turns not working. This problem began under warranty. The front driver/passenger locks would switch back and forth not working. The told me they replaced the "master lock". This fixed the problem for a year and a half or so but now I'm out of warranty and the problem is back with a vengeance. I've dealt with Toyota customer care and the best they've offered is to replace all locks for $500. Better than the original $1700 which they told me was at cost . Toyotas claim is that silicon based cleaners/air fresheners are causing the issue. I don't use those but regardless I believe this should be a recall as it seems many people with all different types of Toyotas are having this issue. It's a safety issue and I have reported it to https://www.nhtsa.gov/. I recommend others with this issue do the same. Maybe enough complaints Will get something done!

My 03 4-runner had the same issue, but only during the winter months never got it serviced though, figured it was just the age of the vehicle.
    Paid Nhtsa.gov a visit anyways.
