So my dad got a new (to him) F250 to haul his camper around. We were talking about detailing it and since he spends a lot of time down in New Mexico, he is particularly interested in UV protection of the paint. Any recommendations?

I have a lot of friends spend thousands to have this applied to their cars along with invisible bras. DIY is the way to go, if you get the right product. I just found this online that might give you an idea about Ceramic Coating. I am going to pull the trigger myself to put ceramic coat on my cars.

DIY pop n lock, 2018 LED headlights, morimoto fogs, TRD shift knob, DirtyDeeds 8"BAM exhaust, kenwood HU,JL amp, Tech12volts Tundra full speaker upgrade w/sub, Swing case, and lots of fluid film
Paint protection film would be ideal but would cost a fortune to wrap a whole truck.

Ceramic coat would be damn good too and can be done DIY. I'd suggest carpro cquartz or 22ple insanity.
