    And the Answer is:

Now what if, just a Murhpy Lives what if something, I don't know what, just something went wrong with new said auto start thingy, would the cut key in ignition allow me to turn on vehicle "manually" or with another key??

I like to Think Ahead, bad habit, I know....

You could install the bypass module, leave the cut key in the ignition, and leave the ignition wired up as well. That way you could either use the key or button, although this isn't recommended by the manufacturer (prolly for liability reasons). It works though.

Yes, installed it myself with the help of an awesome guide written by @erkme73. It took me about 4hrs or so and that was because I took my time and tried to learn each step. You will have to take the lower dash, (below steering) steering column shroud, and possibly the top (gauge pod) as well. Not too hard, just take your time.

Sweet! Attacking the chrome. The handles are easy, the mirror caps can give you fits.

Thats what im afraid of. The mirror cap. I need to take it slow and do those last. I really dont want to break any clips.

Broken clips only matter if you are trying to salvage the old mirrors. I think you will be alright, mine were more brittle from being 10 years older..I suppose.

Not likely you’ll break anything. They’re just a pain to snap on. Gotta get the angle perfect.

Here is a short video of the PKE. Let me know what you think or if you want to see anything else more in detail.

Do it! Here is the writeup for install I used. Everything was spot on! Also, you can get a PKE with different remotes depending on your taste. I chose this one because it felt the most "Toyota truck" to me, but they have fobs that match Audi, BMW, VW, etc. Good luck, report back with the outcome.

20200118_191537.jpg 20200118_191528.jpg 20200118_180042.jpg Made some progress today. I did manage to ruin 1 chrome mirror cover. Broke 3 bottom hooks(legs) thingy while popping it out. What i should've done was follow one member on here guide. Lower your mirror all the way down, stick a long plastic pry tool in and release the 2 upper hooks. Then the cover comes out super easy. Stupid YouTube video says push and pull.
Anyway, all is done. Even did the rear lettering insert. Really coming together now.

Looking good Brandon, you have completely changed the look in the last couple of weeks! Post some shots showing it all, including the new grill if you don't mind.

Thanks. I will, soon as it warm up a bit and i can get her wash. She's very dirty at the moment.
Temp in the 20s and feel like teens. Too cold for a wash.

Installed this brake controller in the nick of time. Literally, hours after installing it and heading out on a camping trip with my trail manor some knuckle head decided to stop (yes 85 to 0mph) on the interstate. I locked up the brakes and the controller did it's job!! My wife says "I was thinking you were all extra putting that thing in here, now I see why we need it."IMG_4943.jpg

Mine didn't come with USB but the pioneer unit included it. TBH, I have never used the USB except to charge a friends phone.

I had just enough tint left over to do the fogs....definitely need a better color bulb, but I think the overall look is pretty descent.IMG_7947.jpgIMG_5875.jpgIMG_5532.jpg

Truck looks awesome! Sucks on the steering wheel. That one looks like it fits mine which is an 08. I’m sure the company will take care of you, shoot them an email.
