Hey all I just want to know if it is worth it or not to change out my blue and yellow Bilstein shocks to the blue and red from the newer tundra. What is the comparison between the two of these. I have the 2010 5.7L and would like to go to the newer version if it's all worth it.

I swapped my original platinum shocks for Sport take-offs about a year ago and couldn’t be happier. Nice smooth ride in the city, feel good on gravel washboard roads and didn’t break the bank, got them second hand for $200 for 4 with a few hundred miles on them. Combined with the rear sway bar, she drives like a sports truck. Wifey likes the ride too. So that says something.

That's great to hear that it's better. I'm guessing that why Toyota went with those than the older version. The 5100 are good but I like that color combination. Looks hot and something new

These are just the factory base model steel rims that I just paint them into black and black bed liner. Nothing special about it.
