My parents have a 2010ish Infinity M45, that has some serious clear coat bubbling happening. Its whole life has been outside and this just showed up a month or two ago.

Talking with them, they are thinking about selling the car, but not ready just yet (probably another year or so). They want to address it before it gets worse.
The rest of the cars paint is in decent/good shape.
I'm thinking there are 3 options:
    1. Scuff and re-clear the immediate area and try to blend it in (diy job)
    2. Have a body shop do the above work.
    3. Have a body shop re clear the roof

I think my parrents will probably want to go with option 3, but I'm thinking it's gonna be around $500 to have it done vs. about $50 in materials (k2 clear, tape, sandpaper, and I already have cut and polish compound).

And bodyshop guys/gals can lay some knowledge on me?
