I’m finally putting all my posts in one place on a build page. Thanks for looking and for all the great info an suggestions on this forum!

 

Added a rough country bumper and side steps. I had them custom powder coated.

 

Love the black and red, but that bronze with the red looks killer!

 

Nice looking truck. How do like the exhaust compared to the TRD?

 

I love it. TRD has a drone I don’t like. The Borla is deeper and a little louder than stock, but no drone. And it really growls when I step on it.

 

I’ve been having so much fun, I forgot to add a pic of the Magnuson Supercharger. If anyone is even thinking about it, do it! It’s siiiiiiiiick!

What happened to the BBS wheels? Why'd you take them off?

 

I powder coated the original rims and put blizzak snow tires on them for the winter.

I love those BBS wheels. I just put a set on my Tundra

 

How much did the coilovers/shocks run you? What about the wheels? Thinking about going this route as well...

 

The wheels were $2200. The suspension was a dealer take off and it was only $1600.

 

Powder coated TRD Pro wheels Bronze Chrome, front and rear TRD sway bars, painted steering wheel trim (better photo coming soon,) Switch-Pros with SDHQ shifter cover, various AJT Trim parts, rear compressor tank that’s fed by the compressor for the airbags.

 

Tag me when you get better pics of steering wheel. Had thoughts about doing red also but was worried it'd be too much for my taste. But yours looks sharp.

Good call on the Bronze. But hey I might be biased.

These show the metallic a little better, but just do it. It’s easy and looks amazing!

I see you are in utah, who did the powder coating and what did it run? I was looking at a similar color.

 

I don’t know why iPhone cameras struggle with reds, but it looks amazing in person.

One thing to keep in mind when painting something as big as the center console is to have a dust free area. I bought a Wagner paint tent on Amazon for about $50. The paint is shockingly good. I did my door handles about 2 1/2 years ago and they still look amazing. It’s been through well over 100 car washes and the salt on the roads during winter.

It’s pretty easy. It looks scary, but use the tools he recommends and it goes fast.

 

The red paint was flaking off so I tore them down and had them sand blasted and powder coated.
