Here is the link to exact unit I bought. It is made by Easyguard. Before purchasing, I communicated with the manufacturer at least 10 times with random questions pertaining to the unit and their responses were detailed and timely. I'm very confident with this PKE, it is built WAY better than anticipated!

Thanks. I just ordered new mirror caps and door handles @Roman in black. Got tracking info already. Waiting to get ship. De-Chrome in progress. Still looking for stereo.

How long did you wait for the steering cover to show up? I bought it Dec.29 straight from loncky website and havent receive any update. No shipping info either. Emailed but no respond.

@Beau Thanks for the photos and info. I have ordered the Alpharex lights and front grille to refresh my wife’s 2008 Sequoia.

I was hesitant at first to get the Alpharex lights, but since they went up to a 2 year warranty I’ll give them a try.

I ordered her some eBay lights and Hikari LED Bulbs for Christmas but could always stick those in my Tundra. I haven’t installed those yet.

See the above attached post for the stacking Alpharex codes.

I also was able to register with AliBaba and order the grille for $154 shipped. I’m not sure if I plan on painting it to color match or just paint black.

    Her Sequoia is
    Nautical Blue Metallic (8S6)

It took about a week for me to receive it I believe. Try to reach out to them through the contact us page on the website. That was the best way for me to reach them. It's worth the wait though, huge upgrade! What color did you end up getting?

The black may be close enough since the nautical blue is dark, although there is something about a color matched grill that brings to another level! If the Hikari bulbs are H7 I'd try to use them, they are supposed to be the best for the projector housing.

I can't see it taking too long since it's not a custom color....Mine was custom and took about 2 weeks (I just looked it up:).

I hear ya on this! The race vision lights are sufficient enough for me at this time since I too am worried about moisture from modifying the dust caps.

Thanks for sharing this link. I didn't even know you can add a push start. I, too am modernizing my 08 and I wanted to know if this remote start is different from the factory remote start that automatically locks the doors when you start the truck then disables the engine when the doors are unlocked. Can't seem to find the info on the Amazon link. I rarely use the remote start because of that 'feature'.

I heard that the OEM remote start had this weird quirk! This PKE does not turn off when the doors are unlocked. Basically, I remote start from the house and put the keys in my pocket. When approaching the truck (keys still in pocket) it automatically unlocks when I am about 5ft away. Then just get in and drive. No quirks:). It really is a sweet system. The only issue is that you have to disable the immobilizer (either by bypass or leaving key near the ring) and also have to disable the steering lock by leaving a cut ket in the ignition.

Thanks for giving her suggestions:). She not only gave me this, but also gave me the permission and support to complete some of these other upgrades I've been posting. She is a beast with a lot of the things needed such as wiring, vinyl wrapping, seat cushion installing, emotional support, etc. Lucky and blessed for sure!! BTW, I really like this skid plate and it serves it's purpose of protection and easier oil changes too.

Sounds like a great system. Especially if you don't have to restart the truck. Leaving a cut key in the ignition seems to make it vulnerable for theft. Or am I missing something especially with the immobilizer disabled.

This is something that I want to do but it's hard to "sell" the need to the Mrs. Does anyone have any recommendations that won't break the bank...free maybe:)? I honestly though about just tinting them with the same tint used on the tails since the honeycomb pattern would match the TRD Pro grill pretty good.

Yeah. Anything decent will run like 200$ for leds.
Tint it would be cool. Light output may suck but fog aren't much help anyhow.

Morimotos might be the best for us but at $200 it's hard for me to justify the expense. These are what I've had in my cart in Amazon...Unless I find something that I like better I'll be buying one of these sets soon. I just got black background projector headlights so I wanted to stick w/ something w/ the black background, but I didn't want tinted lenses.upload_2020-1-14_22-14-7.jpg

I am not running them currently. I plan on waiting until eBay has another coupon or eBay bucks to try them out!

Agreed, I looked for awhile last night and couldn't find out anything about them. It looks like they may be Spyder Spyder branded (which could be good) based on the sky number on eBay. FL-LED-PRO-5. I also like that the lens is clear with the black insides which will match the Alpharex nicely. Honestly, I'm sorta tempted to try them at this price.....thanks @SouthWestGA!
