    Some agencies have a policy of not accepting gifts which may include meals. Meant for bribes but of course trickles down.

    If you did that and the restaurant already accepted it, it will likely result in a big tip for the cashier and the gesture would be appreciated by the LEO, knowing someone wasn't looking for some type of favor as a result. :D
