Well, I haven’t experienced it myself, so I’m just imagining how things would be. You would hope the people that move there, would have the same mindset of the majority in Texas already. Not going there to try to turn it into something they ran away from.

Last time I was in Texas, was probably about 12 years ago. It was wonderful, and everyone I came in to contact with was warm and welcoming. I wouldn’t want to screw that up!
I’ve got a couple friends that moved there, they love it. A few more of my friends and I have talked about moving out of state because it’s just too expensive here. One of our top contenders is Texas. I think I could live without Disneyland!

I've tried to convince my wife to move to Texas, but shes not having any of it - she pictures Texas like a big flat desert. That said, we still do love living in SoCal.

    Mark,
Do you have any other info on how you did this? Wire harness sounds easy. What did you need to do to install the motor and connect it to the window? Any pics?
    Thanks
    Mike

Yep I'd like to see the finished product and a potential write-up!

Unfortunately I did not do a write up. The motor and regulator went in the stock location just like in the Limited DC. I did have to get the brackets to bolt the motor in. Here in the pick the parts needed including the window itself. The center slider is sold separately.
The brackets were mounted to the back wall using urethane sealer. Strong stuff. Had a window installer swap out the manuel for power. The regulator cable clip holes were already there.

Nope. I would still like to do it but haven't gotten to it. Congrats on the new truck.

I would be more than happy to explain the process. Actually not too bad. Since I’m keeping the truck, it was worth it to me. Two things to check, see if you are wired for the relays in the engine compartment fuse box. You would see the connectors in place without the relays which I ordered from Amazon. There are two. Check Behind the left side of the dash Where the rear window switch would go to see if you are pre-wired. Mine is a 2016 SR5 so I am not 100% certain if all SR5’s are wired the same. I would start there.
