I had those on mine and actually removed them because they caused more of a whine at freeway speeds.

I doubt it's the truck battery. You'd have bigger issues than just presets going away. Are you still stock radio or aftermarket. If aftermarket then you probably have a wire messed up in the harness that didn't get plugged in or go crimped to an ACC (red wire) and not a constant (yellow wire).

Pulled up the carpet and added some Noico to the drivers side floor today. Did the back of the kick panel as well. Still have a mountain of this stuff left for the Rav4 this weekend.

I picked up a norcold fridge. I've been trying to get it for a month or so and I couldn't pass it up. It kinda fits right here if I take the handle off. I need to see if I can remove some plastic trim from the seat to get an extra .5" so make it not compress my door panel.

I bought 36 sq ft for $65 from eBay with free shipping. 10 sq ft might be enough. You could always start with that.

I received my Coastal bumper today. Crazing seeing (3) fairly small packages knowing what it will become. Also, "received" my Baja design lights...or so I thought. UPS shows delivered in Catlett, VA..which is cool but I'm in Florida...so that's probably why I Amazon over eBay nowadays...

Battery shows 12v when not running.

Come on now! I ain't no rookie!

    Still rocking the factory radio!

So I went out to check it. It showed 12 volts when off, and the radio was still on the last station i had it on. I started the truck and it gave a tiny struggle and started right up. Truck hasn't been driven since sunday, but it'll do it after sitting overnight. It doesn't do it while driving with multiple stops in one day. Weird.

    Truck off.

You need to see what it's putting out while cranking though. A tester on the battery terminals will give to that, should be 12.6 with the truck off, 13.6-14.6 while running, and shouldn't drop below 10v while starting.

The inside of the metal outer door skin. So the inside of the door part you see from the outside of the vehicle.

Yeah it's just held on by butyl so you can peal it off and re-stick it back on. I think I pulled it and maybe used a razor to cut the butyl as I pulled. It resealed no problem.

Both rear cam bolts are stuck. Looks like I’ll get to cut shit tomorrow. Even ye old hammer of pneumatics couldn’t budge it

also that Napa axle looks rusty and bugs me.

Need to find a inner joint for my original axle so I can put the good Toyota one back on.

Inside of the outer most door skin is where I put it. I think that's what others have done too. It was my understanding that this was the normal place to put it. I could have been mistaken though.

I did both. If you go on their website they have instructions that help. Here is what I gathered. You don't have to cover every sq inch. But the more you use the better it works.

Here is behind the speaker on the rear door.

    1229191301.jpg

    1229191435a.jpg

And on the front doors you can put a lot in between the sheet metal and the actual exterior door metal. Had I know I would have this much left over I would have used more.

Do a search here and you can find more pics.

I didn’t go to MIT, but can give you some advice that may help.

Try doing all 4 door surfaces. In other words: The two inside metal walls cavity, the outside metal that the door panel attaches, and also the backside of the door panel. Doing this dampens all the surfaces instead of one surface. You don’t need to cover every square inch doing all 4 surfaces as the totality exceeds just doing one surface.

Yes. You can cover over the plastic film as well.

Throw some scraps of water proof foam in there. I used stuff from delivery boxes. Make sure it sheds water. You can use the other non-waterproof foam inside the cabin behind backseat or kick panels.

I did all four (4) surfaces using 25-50% coverage per surface.

See my above statement about using foam.
