No disadvantages from my experience. Tire selection and prices seem nicer too.

Why not just insert it into the tailgate? Pull a tailgate 'box' with lights from something at the junkyard, something like a T4R hatch.

Yup, scumbag. Hope Bubba taught him more about "hardened shafts" and "extended travel" while he was in.

The company moved to Riverside, my hometown, shortly after. They honor any warranty on Donahoes and they'll rebuild them which is pretty cool of them.

Last I checked, another company sells just the headlights assys for around $84. Its a no brainer to just get all 4 assys for a little more in cost for $116 Akkon.

I’d skip that company altogether, based on that news, even though company changed hands and the guy is now rightfully in jail hopefully getting some other internal justice on the side in there.

Never understood why someone would want to smoke something that makes them stupid. Compound their bad habit, with an already lacking IQ due to their own laziness, and wallah! we have our current society of aged hippies and younger millennial offspring stupids .

Many do not consider that the illegal drug trade funds many of these other illegal practices, including the one ‘shocking stuffed I’m a I con in prison now’ partook in.

I wouldn't look at Icon funny for what the old founder did. That sort of shit is not something one would share around the shop, I'm sure the employees didn't know. I didn't like what Jarred did either but I'm still eating Subway.

I want to say one thing to the Truck Gang Family. I want you to listen to me. I'm going to say this again: I did not have sexual relations with that man, William Kreag Donahoe. I never touched his "hardened shaft", not a single time; never. These allegations are false. And I need to go back to work on my Tundra. Thank you

Had I known of this prior to me finding them on CL I would have passed. It's a 150 dollar purchase that now makes me cringe knowing I have that fugn assholes logo on my truck. As a father of two young kids it bugs the shit out if me. I'll be looking for a set of Fox Factory 2.5 coilovers asap. Im running there stuff on my 3rd gen and it rocks. Thank you for bringing this to everyones attention.

@ESTundra937 fox 2.5s on first gens have more trouble than they're worth, biggest mistake I've made on my truck was being one of the first to get those. I would go Camburg if you dont want anything Icon related, or give the Kings a shot. Hardly anybody runs the Kings.

I think camburg doesn’t make shocks anymore. At least all the list on their own site is fox

And I won’t touch fox with a 10 ft pole

His name escapes me but theres a guy here with red bumpers, I think he runs those. I haven't seen others on 1st gen, but a few 2nd/3rd gen guys had bad results in snow conditions.

Those Elka look really nice, I fear the sticker shock will keep anybody from being the test mule though.

I may jump on them next year... we’ll see. The big thing with them is they should hold up to winter a lot better since the shock body is aluminium. Ads/fox/icon/king all hate winters

I didn't know those were an option. They do look nice. They aren't much more expensive than King's or ICON's. If someone is wiling to pay $1,200 I think a few hundred more is possible.

No chance of these hitting the brake line either.
