For a month before Christmas I hunted and hunted for a used Sequoia (gen2) in my price range (10K) for the sake (ease) of maintenance I wanted to have the same engine and drive train as my 2013 tundra but was unable to find anything that did not already have over 200,000 miles on it :( so I upped the price to 15K but found nothing near me, then I went up to 20K and the closest 2 were 700 miles from me :(.

Long story short after considering all other full size SUV's I started looking at Armadas, my research showed they had a very rocky birth in terms of the 5.6L engine but seem to be solid in terms of drive-train after 2006, The forum I joined have users reporting 250,300,350 and the last one has 410,000 on his Armada :)

The one I bought has 82,000 and is very VERY clean, the OEM mats are not even dirty, the leather seats are like brand new, the rims are absolutely flawless, no chips, dents or fade in the paint. It is a one owner truck with maintenance records and garage kept :)

the one downside is the MPG is worse than my Tundra :(

Ironically I bought it from a Toyota dealership a half block from my house.

Nice. Always liked the look of that gen Armada. Can I ask where you wound up price wise on it? Pure curiosity. I'm sticking to 1 vehicle for a while.

15,600+tax=16,887. I paid to much, but once the girlfriend drove it I had no choice, if i wanted to live in peace that is...lol

15,600 for a 4x4 SUV with less than 100k on it ain't bad at all. The fact that the Lady is happy with it is even better.

All I can think of when I think Armada is from back in 2006 I went to lunch with a guy I was working with at the time. He had a 7 month old Armada and 4 kids. That new Armada was DESTROYED. Permanent marker all over the seat, side panels and roof. Food and other crap smeared all over. Man, it was a disaster. I couldn’t believe this dude let his kids do that, especially to a new vehicle. Anyway, carry on.
