Looks like it might be time to start gathering the animals in pairs as an "atmospheric river" begins to dump on California. Officially, NOAA said the Santa Cruz Mtns will get "hammered" and areas may see more than 12" of rain over the next couple of days.

meh. They like slinging terms like "Atmospheric River", and "Storm of the Decade", I think mostly for dramatic affect. The last few times we've heard this hype, the reality failed to measure up. I guess its all relative. Armageddon in CA, probably equates to moderate rainfall in FL. We shall see.
