I'm looking to install LED strip lights in the bed and would like to tie into the cargo light circuit but don't really want to go through the process of trial and error to figure out which wire it is if I don't have to. I've looked all over this forum and a few others trying to find info for the 2019 model but haven't had any luck.

I originally was planning on pulling power from the +12v line on the 7-pin trailer connector, but figured out that it is only live when the truck is running. If anyone knows of an alternate way to have the lights powered with the truck off that doesn't require running power all the way to the battery that would also be appreciated. At this point I think that the cargo light is probably just the simplest way.

This may or may not help.
It is the schematic from a 2015 cargo light switch.
You can tap into that brown wire, I think it runs along the drivers side door sill between the switch relay and the light..

It's probably the same pin position as my 2018 and maybe a different color, but I can't remember where I originally found the info for the one I tapped.. I know that it's in the drivers side sill panel, and I THINK it was the smaller pink wire... I'd need to go out and pop the covers off to know for sure. I'll see what I can find.

I just added the OEM LED's in my bed following this post and with these instructions in the PDF below had my 2019 Pro the wire was blue which tied into the cargo light.
