Leer only sells pet screens with new lids. Anyone have any DIY options that look clean? Thanks in advance

I want to put them over the side windows that slide open, I don’t trust the dogs with the regular screen

I ordered the Snugtop pet screens on my tundra shell, but made my own for the snugtop on my tacoma.

i used 1/4” wire mesh, removed the inner window frame to mark out the size and cut the mesh. I rattle-canned it black. I nested the mesh within the frame and reinstalled the frame. Worked like a charm.

I improved on the snugtop screens by cutting the one on the drivers side to 1/2 width of the opening so I can give pets while fueling.

I haven’t owned a leer in over a decade, so I’m not sure how they are engineered with window frames and such.

I am getting rid of my cap and took the screens out. They can be mounted within the frame or simply drilled into the frame of the window from inside of the cap, which is what I did. If you want these, let me know. They measure 33.75" at the longest edge and 14" high if those fit your windows. They were on cap with half sliding windows.
