Has anyone replaced the side/pilar windshield weatherstrip on an 05 DC. Mine seems to have warped towards the top of the windshield. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I haven't, but I would expect this to be something an auto glass guy to have access to. If you can find one that isn't a franchise, you can gab the guy up a bit and he'll probably be able to help you out.

Welcome from Utah. I've been through McCall a few times. Pretty place, that's for sure.

The strip I think your talking about is held in by screws. Pull the rubber seal that goes to the door out of the channel and you can get the Philips screws. I’m going to try and do mine tomorrow. The pieces are about 45 a pop (well with employee pricing)

Pull that rubber back seal back and unscrew that metal frame and re-form it back into shape. The polished silver metal frame (not pictured here) goes over the pillar and attaches with 4 odd short bus screws. I cleaned things up and put rubber butyl tape over the failing clips to prevent leaks. It also serves as a sound deadener preventing winds from howling over the holes.

Re-screw the metal track back and snap the gasket back into the grooves. Might as well clean those rubber door seals up since you are in there. Your truck will sound quieter afterwards due to all the work.
