Found where my locking tailgate wiring is tapped in at today

    I was installing my LED puddle light today on my passenger side and came across where Gulf States Toyota had tapped into the wiring for the electric locking tailgate. I'm glad I came across it. As you can see in the pictures, there are 2 fuses that are for that circuit. I probably would have never found them if it weren't for me doing the puddle lights.

    Interesting that they would just use wire taps. Hmmm. I guess it's too costly and time consuming to solder and heat shrink.
