DISREGARD. After some looking online and under the fuse panel, blew my ETCS fuse. Thankfully, found a small 10A in the garage.

Everyone should have a code reader.

    Agreed!

I gave bluetooth dongles as Christmas gifts last year along with a $5 bill to cover the cost of the Torque Pro app. I really like my daughter having one in her car while at college. That way if she has a problem, we can diagnose it together over the phone.

I'm sorry to laugh but I can only imagine something like this happening to me lol.

Trying to do something simple like fog lights, seeing a spark and then the trucking running like crap .

FWIW, Amazon sells some pretty cost effective code readers. I bought last month for $20 and it actually does quite a bit. This is the one I bought:

Picked an appropriate user name....thought about using sparky myself given it can happen to the best of us.

‘Twas nice to laugh AFTER the fact. Tried to do a good a job as possible, drilled the hole for the light switch next to the steering column in the rectangular plastic piece that pops out. Only annoyance is my LED headlights seem to overpower the FOGS, but very proud of my install job nonetheless
