I'm looking for a good local exhaust shop that knows what they're doing in regards to Tundras. I drove into Jeffreys in north Ft. Worth and they really didn't seem to know what was going on when I asked about options, all they wanted to do was slap a flowmaster muffler on. I'm still trying to figure out if I want to get a dirtydeeds setup shipped and then a shop to put everything on, or just buy the TRD exhaust and have a shop put it on, or have a shop put something custom on. Anyone have any local contacts or thoughts on their exhaust? I'm definitely not looking to put a dumped NASCAR setup on, but something more along the lines of a good throaty tone with dual tips that doesn't drone so loud inside that you can't hear anything.

What about the sound? Are you happy with it? I was also kind of hoping I could find a similar exhaust to the TRD that was under $1k

After speaking with Keith at dirtydeeds, I REALLY like the 8" sound and BAMuffler setup. My only concern is having to cut into the stock pipe to install the resonator. I don't own a sawsall, so not sure how I'd do that myself. Anyone locally have this setup?
