I've been planning to build a rack to carry a roof top tent for a while. It took a while, but I'm finally getting it done.

It's 1.75 x .120 wall square with 1.5 x .120 wall round. It's heavy duty and will hold more weight than I could put on it. I used the threaded mounting holes for the stock bed rail system and the side rails bolt into those. I still need to put my hi-lift mount points and pioneer tool mounting points and then it should be done for now. I'm sure as I use it, I will find mods I want to build in.

    Nice rack!

How much do you think it weighs?

"Nice rack!"....haaa...I see what you did there. It's probably a little north of 100 pounds. No more than 120 I don't think. It's way overkill, but I know it will hold up.
