We made anti --- vibration parts.we made all of the shock and srut boot covers for the Toyota Camry in Kentucky, gas tank necks, sway bar bushings, radiator bushings,etc... We made s lot of parts for Toyota cars and trucks.they are very strict on their quality. Therefore the reason for their great quality.

I completely agree. All our Toyota/lexus parts (Tacoma door seals, Tacoma hood to radiator seal, Camry quarter window seals, and tundra door seals) have the highest part specs of anything in the plant. Our Ford processes, Subaru, and I think we have one GM processes are fairly low. Just about anything will pass as long as it works lol.

Also, the difference here is staggering. My cargo lamp button must have some dust/dirt on the white filter part because it is still a little dingy, but I dont think it is the bulbs.

I just replaced the light in my ignition ring. Cool white looks real nice. Also I replaced the light in my ASHTRAY. I had no idea that bulb was there. It is a 74 in led

I don't know how to post more than one picture at a time. I'm trying to post more pictures but y'all get the point.

I broke a lot of $hit trying to replace that bulb. Decided it was best left alone. Let us know if you succeed.

The picture of success is in the quote @FirstGenVol

Two Phillip's head screws hold the top plate in that the tray slides in. Slide the top plate towards you and out she comes. Bulb housing pops out of metal tray. Doesn't twist out.

Another trick for the ashtray. Drill out the factory green lens cover.

Anyone know how to access the Fog Switch Button? Forgot there was even a bulb in there as its been burnt for a long time. Assuming I need to pull the bottom driver cover under the steering column again.

Edit, you already did. Looks good!
I didnt make it to the second page before posting.

No, I used a cool white Led because it's what I had available. There is a green filter in the top plate, and that's what gives it its green color.

I actually figured out the ashtray one while trying to figure out the cigarette plug...

I'm thinking I can remove the ashtray, and unmount the lightbulb socket from the plug, and then replace in the cigarette lighter port.
My hands aren't little though so we'll see

I dont know though... it's just a shot in the dark

Nope. Tried 3 times with 3 different attiudes. Its tight. I bought some 90° needle nose for some other work and tried to pull the clip off with those from thru the ashtray side access. Scared something will break if pulled too hard. Lots going on right there and its not worth a catastrophe. I know limits on things.

I don’t see any other way to easily access without a full dash removal. Tried from the footwell side and the lower charger plug wrap around. No dice.

Gotcha. I noticed that whole panel has the push in lock gromet type thing, maybe the whole panel could be removed?

    Question for the whole thread.

Are there any bulbs I've missed. Lol I have changed everything but backlight for foglight button, and cigarette plug.

    I have done:
all 3 over head lights (I don't recall the numbers for these.)
    Footwell light (74)
    Ashtray (74),
    Ignition ring (74),
HVAC backlights (three 194, two 74),
    And glove box (74).

Instead of replacing the leds what exactly would you have to do if you wanted to replace the entire dash? I believe it might involve changing up the wiring behind the dash? Does anyone know the specifics of what it would take?
