    Hello,

I was curious if the rear OEM mat from a crew max will fit a double cab. The mats appear to be the same shape, maybe a little longer front to rear, but the CM has the hump piece that connects the two mats. My DC has the under storage seat which may interfere some. My black mats are off-colored black from the previous owner cleaning and looking for an upgrade. Has anyone done this? The front mats look the same on both DC and CM, the best I can tell.

    Thanks.

Thanks, I have a set of rubber mats that I use when needed. I bought a set of OEM 2019 CM mats and will report back if they fit a DC. I needed something I’ll use most of the time outside of beach, mud, and snow seasons.

The double cab and crewmax mats are interchangeable, second or third gen. The crewmax mats are a bit of an upgrade since they have the “third” mat the connects the rear two mats and protects the driveshaft hump.

I doubt it. Look up the OEM mats for the DC and see but they are a different PN IIRC. The 6" less in the rear portion of the cab would make me skeptical. Fit versus actually being able to use them is a different story.

I love the Huskies up front but weathertech makes a better rear mat for crewmax, covers more of the under seat area.

Maybe for 3rd gen, but for 2nd gen the Huskys and WTs look almost identical. The seat rails for the 2nd gen CrewMax rear seats prevent much coverage under the seats.

Yeah, I got Weather Tech front and back. Husky will be my next mats.

Yeah my bad didn't realize the difference in the rear seat for the second gens. In that case second and third gen mats are not interchangeable for the rear if you get the full coverage weathertech or Huskies that go under the seats.

I read this post as I just picked up a 2008 Tundra Limited Double Cab. This may help you:

Anyway when I got this truck it had white paint under the rear seats (tan interior) and it was visible from the sides near the bottom sill of the door.

I ordered Husky liners for the front and rear but it didn’t cover under the seat. I then thought if I ordered Weathertechs for a Crew Max they might be longer but this it not the case(ordered and tried). It’s the exact same size unfortunately.

I then saw Weathertech sells a black floor liner for under the seats of a 2014 and up which goes all the way under the seats. Part number 440938:
    https://www.weathertech.com/toyota/2014/tundra/floorliner-digitalfit/

I then pulled out my JBL sub enclosure and loosened my rear seat mounts. I slid the rear Weathertech floor liner (went with black as I was afraid the tans from Husky would not match) under the back and then made marks where the holes were for the seats and sub. Drilled the liner holes out and put it in.

Bolted everything back and it fit really well. The only part was the bump on the sides near the door was a hair off (sat just a little higher but not much at all and it didn’t matter since it’s under the seat where your feet won’t go) and the edges needed tucked (slightly trimmed) under the sill trim. Looks absolutely perfect and makes it new again.

I hope this helps for my first post here.

Post some pics of this when you can. Sounds like a great solution.

Will do!! I get the truck back this week as it just got a new paint job on it and will have it in a few days. Between the new Huskys front and rear sitting on top of the Weathertech black floor liner, it looks like a brand new floor since most all of the carpet is covered.

Here you go! If you see where the black bump meets the tan Husky mat. That is where it technically goes a few inches past the 2nd gen hump but you would never know. It’s a solid piece and when you press it you can’t tell. I hope this helps. It covered my nasty white paint stains that would not come out from the previous owner.

The close up shot shows where I tucked the black Weathertech flooring slack.
