Exterior Christmas Decorations

We have seen your Christmas trees. Who decorates the exterior of your home?

 

I keep it simple like you OP.. couple of wreaths on the windows, a few spot lights shining upward and lights around the door and trim of the house.

Nothing extravagant, just enough to be able to set up and take down in an afternoon.

 

From last year. The family has not sent me this years yet.

 

ive added another 9’ snowman since I took these.

I actually had planned on wrapping the whole cypress tree out front. But the damn tilt sensor was so sensitive on the rental lift that every time I moved in it it was triggering the alarm and locking out from going any further up or out. Gonna game plan for next year with a bigger piece of equipment haha. so I wrapped what I could with a ladder haha.

Ok, not really.

My wife was just in Ottawa for work and sent me that pic from parliament one night, just as I was putting up our humble light display.

We just do colored strips across the bottom and a snowflake above the entrance.
