I'm still on the stock UCA with my lift, I did do the diff drop up front though. Rolling on 37s now:thumbsup:IMG_20190917_160827.jpg

I just had the bp51 kit installed with the Dakar leaf springs and Jba uca. Love it so far we had our first real snow yesterday and the truck felt solid. I have to commute an hour and forty minutes each way with a mixture of dirt roads and highway.

I have a BP51 on my 2019 Tacoma and am thinking about it for my 2020 Tundra. Keep us informed on how it does.

Anyone running this setup for a while able to comment and post some pics of the CV Angles (with or without the drop kit) and just overall updates on ride?

I run 613 coils (arb front bumper). SPC uca’s and Dakar’s in rear. Sway bar deleted. I wanted the most lift possible so I have two coach builder shims on the drivers and one on the passenger side to fix ‘tundra lean’. I run a diff drop on it and judging by the way the cv angles look, I for sure wouldn’t run without it. I have never had any shake or shim’s since alignment. On the ride side of things the truck is working great. I have even jumped the front of the truck a few times, granted I did rip a cv axle boot :D. The ride is slightly on the stuff side (spring rate is tuned for the weight of the bumper plus a winch, which I don’t have yet). Honestly I love the way it rides. Feels tight and planted they way I want it to feel.

So I got the OME kit from @Toytec Lifts with Dakar rear leafs. I've seen most folks add shackles, but didn't get the option when ordering (could always order separately I guess).
Will the Dakars work with the stock OEM shackles?

Yes, they should work with the stock shackles. OME sells the shackle but it’s one you can grease.

Install video where they just reused the old shackles. Good luck with the install; let us know what how things go.

    Awesome, thank you!
I'll be reusing the stockers and maybe will upgrade to the greasables down the line.
I'll be posting photos when I get it done! Hopefully tomorrow.

How have you found the SPC UCA's durability wise and quality wise? Haven't found many Canadians running them so I'm curious to hear how they hold up through salt season.

Any issues getting the alignment done up right?

They have been awesome. No alignment issues. I have run them for two winters now without issue. I’ve gotten airtime in the front of the truck a couple times and it’s kept alignment as well. I’ll be SPC for life at this point.

Damn eh! Do you have an "alignment guy" or was a "normal" shop able to do it for you?

Where did you pick them up from?

Thanks for the info to eh. Been going between the SPCs, BDS, and Camburgs but I like the ability to swap out the joint easily without removing the arm and the fact they seem super freaken adjustable.

Those are the same reasons I picked spc over a hiem joint. Salty snow. I did sort of have an alignment guy, my neighbor is the mechanic I brought it to. He said he ‘road force’ aligned it. I guess it’s the setting on the machine they use for luxury cars. He said no issues while doing it. Plus when I lol at the setting on the arm I have room to adjust camber less/more which is good to see.

I got all my lift parts from baja north in Kamloops. They are awesome. The owner basically sells parts at cost cause he wants everyone to wheel hard haha. I’m trying to remember but I’m pretty sure with the cost saving compared to the next lowest quote I ended up getting the spc’s free. Came shipped to my house on a pallet.

Oh 100% comes in handy, especially talking to people who have to deal with salt and winter.

Sorry OP for taking away from the post, to bring it back on topic a question for those that are running the OME Nitro sports front and/or rear do you wish you had gone with a Resi at all? Aka anyone noticed any fading at all?

I run an OME lift on my 2006 4runner....love it. Performs much better and is so much better when it comes to towing.

No UCA, and no issues whatsoever. Everything has been great!
I just put about 800 miles on the kit over this past week, and still couldn't be happier.

I ran BP51 on my 4 Runner for a couple years and then bought a 2019 Tundra. I liked the kit so much on my 4Runner I decided to run them on the Tundra. The Tundra kit is newer to OME and I feel like it isn't as tested...

Don't get me wrong, it rides like a dream compared to the stock suspension... but I have had 3 rear shocks that leaked immediately after install. It seems to be a Known issue on early runs of the product but it was supper annoying to have to keep getting replacements and reinstalling them. To OME credit... the warranty process was super easy.. I sent them photos they sent me replacements with no problems.

I just ran them on a 3400 mile Baja trip on some really rough roads and they run like a dream...

My feeling is if you can get a solid set that doesn't leak they are an incredible ride.

On my 4Runner... after a couple years I still had no leaks and no issues.
