Should be a plastic cover in the door jam and 1 torx screw holding the housing in. Will let you know tomorrow, they should be here then.

 

@Ckatz53 yes, after watching the video this part looks ok. I’m curious about the front two as there must be some kind of electrical connection. I would love it if you could document!

Simple is relative, of course, but I don't think they're difficult to install. You do have to remove the door panel for the front handles now.

Paint shop I use isn't available until January 6, 2020, so it'll be a few weeks before that's all done. Just did the chrome delete for the rest of the trim this AM though!

 

well then post up some photos of the trim to motivate me to do the same...haha

Swapped the door handles and mirror caps this AM. This is a 2020 with remote start/keyless entry. Composing a writeup for it now that I'll link to this post once it is done (someone asked for pointers since its a bit different with the keyless entry electronics).

Great looking build! Im tempted to do the interior LED mods now.

 

Paint match/chrome delete complete with the DB Customz grille! Arrive at home and see these sitting on the porch waiting for me (JBA UCAs). Just waiting on the Radflo/BOSS shocks w/ resis to arrive and I can pull it all together with the 35" Nitto trails.

Updated. Lift dialed in after a questionable first round install at a local shop. While the initial result left plenty to be desired, the shop manager 100% made amends and made everything right. See this thread: Pretty Pissed Off (Shop Install Gone Bad).

If anyone in Maryland needs some things done, I would actually recommend Trick Trucks of Edgewater. Just make sure to ask for Shane, their shop manager.

 

Fixed my TSS issue finally (fingers crossed it stays that way). DB Customz grille/bracket sets the sensor at an upward angle. Bought some extra speed nuts and adjusted the angle to mimic the stock angle for anyone curious why their TSS may be malfunctioning with a lift or aftermarket grille.

 

Is the TSS working correctly now?

 

Yup. Been a week, no issues.

 

I plasti dipped mine but it came out pretty crappy. Gonna do it again. I was gonna order emblems too, but decided not to spend money and did the plasti dip.

 

I had a rack of stuff plastidipped on my Jeep for a long time. Held up pretty well it just fades over time.

 

Placed an order for a set of these. Super stoked. Then it's 5.29s and an Auburn LSD and a helluva lot of convincing the wife for a Harrop

 

Killed Bambi on the way home from work late last night. Bumpers just jumped to priority number one.

Received my SS Built front and rear bumpers last week. Had a chance to toss the rear on this morning.

In the coming week I'll have the front on, my motor mounts installed, choppinf the lower back portion of the bed, and the suspension raised slightly front and rear.

Later in the month I'm axle dumping the TRD exhaust.

It's getting there.

 

Chopped the TRD off.

 

Nice looking truck.

 

Got the SS Built front bumper mounted finally. Just need to cut the rear bed fins and install my motor mounts from @Bonzen.
