Does it make sense that my 2018 has a less stiff suspension than the 2010? Both have about a 3inch lift in the rear and 1 up front. Seems like the 2018 leans more side to side or to the rear with anything in the bed. I also seem to notice it when just making a 90 degree turn.

Were they identically equipped? Did the 2010 have sway bars that the 2018 doesn't?

I know nothing about the older gens, and am still new to suspension stuff, but there could very well be a fundamental difference between the 2 generations that is the reason for the handling differences. I'm 90% sure that the newer trucks are heavier (could be wrong) and that might be enough to cause it if all aspects of the suspension are equal. There could also have been changes to the suspension designs or materials used that could explain it.

There are definitely different bushings. There is a TSB on the "bed bounce" that doesn't affect the 3rd gen. I doubt the springs are that much different. TRD Pro. Yes.

My buddy has a 2010 Crewmax Platinum. It’s rough as hell unloaded. He keeps several 100lbs in the bed at all time
